Stranded in a Mythical Forest(Sci-fi, Fantasy, Modern rp)

"Hey, for all we know the forest might be trying to point us towards the satellite." Jay hopped onto the hoverboard. "Just gimme 5 minutes to fly around and check the place out."

Lucille rolled her eyes, then after a moment of silence. “If I get demoted or fired, might as well have fun.” She said, grinning wildly.

"Aww, you'll be fine." Jay moved his foot back and pressed another button. The hoverboard expanded so that it was big enough for two people to stand on. He held out his hand and smiled at her. "You wanna come with?"

“Sure.” Lucille grinned, she took his hand.

He pulled her up next to him on the hoverboard. His eyes flashed, and the same purple marks covering the hoverboard suddenly crept up his neck and face. The board jerked and they were suddenly halfway to the tops of the massive trees

“We’re not going to die, right?” Lucille asked.

"Naw, we're totally safe." They finally got to the tops of the trees, and Jay stopped just above the canopy

“I can see everything.”

"Yeah. Reminds me a little of home." They flew up a little, and they started to move across the tops of the trees. "See anything interesting yet?"

Jasmine flies up next to them (using the channels of air). She looks around. "Hey, there's the waterfall near the cave! It's easier to see up here."

Jay waved at her. "Kinda why we're up here. Maybe there's something behind the waterfall?"

After Jay, Jasmine, and Lucille flew off to scout ahead; Phoenix turned to Addi.
'We cannot be outside after dark,' she transmitted, "There are creatures you do not want to meet lurking about, waiting for the cover of night. They will be drawn to the lights of the ship."

"Maybe. We should go there."

Addi smiled. She shot upwards with her wings, quickly catching up to her friends, then shooting past them. "Later slowpokes!" She called out giggling madly.

I assumed as much. She transmitted back to Phoenix.

"Hey!" Jasmine yells. She drops onto the ground and then chases after Addison. She catches up easily and passes quickly, turning around and sticking her tongue out.

"Or we can fly off with no plan," Phoenix muttered, rolling her eyes.
After a second she shrugged and grinned, spreading her wings and lifting off the ground, easily catching up to, and then overtaking, the others.
"Race ya to the waterfall, Addi!" she laughed.

Addi shouted, "HEY!!!" But she was laughing. She shot past Phoenix, using her vast knowledge of aerodynamics and aeronautics to her advantage.

"Oh no you don't!" Jasmine yells, and runs faster. She runs in a different direction to the others, and they don't follow her. I know a shortcut!

(Lol okay I just thought it would be weird if my character randomly came back in like ‘Hey I’m here, what’d I miss?’)

Zen stood in the shadow of a tree,leaning against it. None of the others seemed to have noticed him once he had stepped into the shadow. He walked out when he realised they were all leaving and chased after them. “Hey, wait for me!”

Jasmine hears the whoosh of wings. "What took you so long?" She teases from her leaning position beside the cave.

(sorry for vanishing, I was filling easter eggs) Jay heard Zen shouting. "Hold on, I'll come grab you!"

"Cheater!" Addison stuck out her tongue at her friend as she landed, but she was smiling.

"I didn't cheat. I just took the shorter way. And I'm faster than you."

Jay landed next to Zen, expanding the hoverboard again. It now looked less like a hoverboard and more like a floating panel. "Hop on."

"Don't have to tell me twice," he said, hopping onto the hoverboard. He kept his hand over his eyes, since he had always been sensitive to the sun.
