"I'm right with you, Uriah!" Durbin shouted in excitement, projecting the light he used to smite things all over his body. The 45 pound plate vest he wore exploded, the light taking a safe path away from any students to strike the walls in beautiful starry tendrils that scathed everything they touched.
Stranger Academy
(She can still show off, they're doing demonstrations!)
Cicada rolled her eyes at Uriah's dragon making one of her own that perched itself on her shoulder.
Nienna didn't really want to show people her skills as she watched the others show them off like they were unicorns.
(She can still show off, they're doing demonstrations!)
(I wasn't planning for her to show off, you would have to force her too. On to Plan B!)
(My bad.)
Maybe I should summon an underworld baby dragon? Or would that be to much, I mean they did like when I summoned a demon-dog. Uriah's dragon disappeared because he was lost in thought. I definitely can't do my third ability. "Baby dragon it is." Uriah closed his eyes and a small baby dragon appeared in his hands.
Danielle looked around at everyone practicing their magic, and wished she could do half the things they could. For now, she could only make flames big enough to maybe singe someone. They were dangerous if she used larger flames, but those were harder to control, so she never did. Riverpaw, on the other hand, sat under a tree, playing with a little flower she had made.
Amai stood with Nienna, smiling at how everyone was being so showy.
Cicada chuckled at the little dragon in Uriah's hands. She asked him, "Are you trying to out do me?"
The panther looked towards Sado questioning.
"Fine." Sado said.
"Aye." Durbin replied, improving his smiting-tendrils technique. The ground under his paws began to steam.
Thank God Nekoichi's training room could repair itself.
"What are you talking about of course not!" Maybe a little. The baby dragon hopped out of his hands and went to Danielle, since he was the same size as her. "Pike, come back." He roared as loud as he could, which wasn't loud at all and rubbed up against her. "Sorry about that, hes still learning."
Nienna observed the others from a distance, her powers were probably nothing compared to them.
Suddenly, her headphones were ripped off her head causing her to yell out in pain. She could hear faint laughing on the background. "See I told you she was weak, this mudblood is nothing." Some sneered before kicking her in the rib.
Pain flared before her eyes as she struggled to get up. Colors were everywhere and well she was mad. "Leave me alone!" Nienna yelled as she waved her hand and electriciry flared through her body.
Uriah over heard the commotion and looked to see the two people from earlier. "Cicada watch over Pike." He walked over and stood next to Nienna. "What's going on?"
Danielle hopped over to join them, shifting into her human form and glaring at the bullies.
Cicada took Pike and followed after. The little dragon naturally stayed on her arm, it knew who to obey. She looked as menacing as possible. Elves are so stupid, they're like witches. Except worse.
Durbin had almost gotten lost in his display, when Nienna screamed.
His lights faded as he approached the attackers.
"You damned elves!" He snarled, his words like ice daggers.
His ears lay back plastered to his head as his tail twitched so fast it practically vibrated.
"No stand back." She warned them, in a low and dangerous tone. Electricity filled her eyes with colors and covered her body before all the energy was released in a plasmic blast and threw everyone back filling the room with a sheering light.
Durbin watched as electricity pulsed through his fur. He waited.
Uriah was sent flying and his head hit a wall. "Ow." That was awesome! It hurt but it was amazing. He quickly stood back up and ran over to Nienna. "That was so cool!"
Pike kept Cicada and itself in their place. Man that girl had some power.
Uriah's head was bleeding a bit from him colliding with the wall. "Oh, Pike." He looked over to Cicada. Thank goodness they're all safe. He was caught off guard and wasn't steady enough to keep himself from flying across the room.
Nienna collasped on her knees before curling into a ball on the floor and started sobbing. "No, make it, please." She pleaded in a hoarse voice. Electricity still frizzed around her body and all the elves started stomping their feet on the foor making so much Ruckus.
Cicada held Pike and brought them to Uriah. She looked at his head, and sighed before handing him Pike, "Here you damn summoner."
The stomping got louder as the elves started calling her names. "Shes a monster." "A disgrace." "She doesn't deserve to be here."
Tears flooded her cheeks as she put her hands over her ears trying to block out all the noise. "Make it stop,
please
make it stop."
He took his dragon, but he ran after the elves. Pike and Uriah had a special bond he could read Uriah's emotions and act upon them. "Headphones." Pike grabbed the headphones and brought them over. He gently put them back on Nienna's head. Looking at all the elves his eyes flashed a yellow color which the haven't done in a while. "Back off!" He practically scaremed.
Cicada turned to the elves and shot a fire ball straight at them. Her eyes had a red glow to them, "Leave her alone! Or else I'll kill all of you!"
"Nienna!" Durbin yelled, sprinting over. He tried to roll her on his back, succeeding at last as electricity pulsed through him. It didn't hurt though, as he'd sparred with his brother, god if the sky, sea, and lightning before to stalemate and was thus used to it. "Are you OK?" He said, mouth lighting up.
He fired off a volley of the energy from before at the elves.
Riverpaw barked, stepping through the commotion, but stayed behind Danielle. "I-is she okay!?"
"No, no killing." He walked up to Cicada and grabbed her shoulder. Calm down. He knew she could hear him. Let the teacher handle it, it will be a big problem if we started something. That's what he told her at least. But, it was taking everything he could to keep from ripping them apart. A demon is still a demon after all.
