"So, Maelynn," Cassius said, looking somewhat awkward. He was never good at conversation. "Your kingdom has been well, I presume?"

"Astrid, you've been quite quiet," Mae said, like a proper ruler, the way she'd been taught.

"There is not much for me to say on the matter." Astrid responded politely, not wanting to upset anyone as people already seemed pretty upset over the poison.

"Yes. Our economy is bustling. And you Cassius?" She said, pretending to care. It was an act, the way so appeared so mature, so royal. A mask, just like Cassius'.

(What’s supposed to happen next?)

(We should have something happen. Danger, Romance, Rituals, Nighttime, etc. Which do you think. Personally, I'd like a romance, but thats just me being a hopless romantic lol)

Cassius rolled his eyes. "An extremist group of individuals has decided to attempt to purge my kingdom of exiled spirits. The propaganda is overwhelmingly idiotic."

(What if an unknown kingdom or whatever declares war on the rest of them?)

"Should I take care of them?" Mae asked in a joking tone.

"The same has happened to my kingdom, multiple attempts have been made. They were trying to wipe out the Convelite species, this would not usually trouble me. But, that is the species I originate from. I am worried that me being on the throne is putting my subjects in danger."

Mae was silent, realizing how serious this was. Now that her humor was gone, she had no sheild to protect herself. She tapped her foot obsessivley, frightened.

"Have you identified the individuals?" Cassius asked, taking another sip of his drink. He had yet to figure out the identities of very few of the group, as they weren't very hard to find. Especially not when they yelled in the streets about how any spirits banished from their own realm shouldn't be allowed to take refuge in Aryllis.

(should we make it night time and have everyone go to bed? there could be drama during the night or something, like a fight or murder)

"No, they all seem to be from different kingdoms and species," Virgil says, no matter how frightening the man was, he would always ut his subject before himself.
