Superhero Academy
“Pfft, I’m already an 11. But do want to grab a coffee? I like you a latte.”
(My character is telepathic, so she can just hear their thoughts about the previous comments.)
(Omg. xD Okay then.)
“Are you a 90 degree angle? ‘Cause you look right.”
Sky walked into the room and saw two kids about her age. She quickly hid her knife. She listened to their conversation. They were flirting! She barely smothered a giggle. It was the first day of school! She listened to them, using all her willpower to try not to laugh out loud.
(The next comment Naoki makes will be when the teacher come in, is that ok?)
(I don't care. What class is this?)
(Okie dokie!)
“Well are you an acute angle because you’re a cutie.”
———————————-
Ms. Evans finally got the printer to work and started walking back to class.
The teacher came in just as one of the kids said a very weird, and kind of sweet, line. Sky couldn't hold back her laughter. She doubled over, laughing so hard that tears were streaming down her face. She wiped them away, still laughing, and straitened.
“Guess what this shirt is made of, 100% boyfriend material,” Naoki smirked and paused. Why was it so quiet all of the sudden?
(K gtg for real now, bye! ;-; )
(K gtg for real now, bye! ;-; )
(Byeee.)
Alanna’s face flushed red and turned to the front of the classroom.
Everyone stared at Naoki, and started whispering, forgetting about the teacher. The teacher awkwardly stood there for a few minutes.
(I'm gonna be on and off a lot today :P )
Naoki looked at the teacher, "I mean… you can't say no," he shrugged.
Some girls squealed and some rolled their eyes, the whispering continued.
Ms. Evans walked in front of the class. “Well I’m glad someone of you are getting… acquainted to your partners. I’m going to pass out a worksheet, see how many elements of the periodic table that you can fill out. You may work with your partners.” She said as she passed out the worksheets.
"Psh, we got this in the bag, eh?" Naoki nudged Alanna.
Alanna nodded, writing them down, she had memorized them in Junior High (mua haha, like mother like daughter. :D). “How are you not embarrassed?”
Naoki shrugged, "I'm too cool to be embarrassed by things like that," he started filling out his own worksheet with pen since he had broken his pencil trying to make a point, How ironic, he thought, "Also, who cares? They're just jealous," filling out the periodic table was simple, he needed to know them to use his power, anyway.
“Of course.” Alanna said, Potassiaum, calcium, scandinium, titanium, vanadium, chromium, manganese, iron, cobalt, nickel… (OMG help I dunno which to capitalize and how to spell them, I only memorized the order. ;-;)
(It's fine! I haven't even learned them yet… ;-; )
"Why? Were you embarrassed for me?" Naoki teased.
“N-no.” Alanna denied, her voice cracking slightly.
"Hm, sure," Naoki smirked, Just a few more to fill in, he thought, "Einsteinium, Fermium, Mendelevium, Nobelium, and… done!" he whispered to himself.
“Finally.” Alanna said, spinning her pen and watching other students complete their worksheet. She had only been done like, 5 seconds before him, but Alanna was a competitive person for whatever reason.
"What? Am I too slow a writer for you?" Naoki asked, "and for the record, you had, like, a 20 second head start!"
“Pfft. It was more like a 5 second.” Alanna said, rolling her eyes.
"Sure, whatever floats your boat," he rolled his eyes and exaggerated it more than was needed.
Alanna chuckled, laying her head on the desk.
Naoki propped his feet up on the desk and stretched out his arms, forgetting his wound, and flinched when it was stretched out. His eyes widened as his center of balance was thrown off and he began to fall backwards, he tried to lean forwards, but it was too late. He fell on the floor again, "Oh, come on!" he groaned and crossed his arms.
“You need to stop falling for me.” Alanna smirked.
"Well it's only because you're looking like fluorine, iodine, and neon," Naoki retorted.
