"Really?" Dylan said, perking up, "What did he say?"
Superhero Roleplay [Closed]
Element shot up from her chair. "He's one of The Flame leaders!" she shouted.
"It's hard to understand them, even when they speak English. I think it was something like, 'Xelnarin is ready. Xelnarin be here soon.' But I don't really know. I'm horrible at talking to them," said Aspect.
"Xelnarin. He's a leader! I remember them talking about him when he killed my parents!" she cried, and then she began to pace.
"Je brûlerai le soleil et ses frères." Element was muttering under her breath.
"What?" asked Aspect, confused. "What are you saying, E?"
The word 'murdered' brought back another part of Dylan's memory. It came back slowly, but the words rang in his head:
Aren't you a fine little warrior? A bright future ahead of you, I can see it.
I will be the greatest warrior!
I am sure. You will end the murders, and bring glory back to the Flame
He shuddered, but didn't say anything. He was fairly sure he knew what the dream was.
Best to save it for a better time.
"I will burn the sun and it's brothers. That was a phrase written a long time ago. And now, hear they want the galaxy stone and her sisters. Their connected."
(I'm done for the day. Sorry, guys!)
"Woah," breathed Aspect. "That's pretty dark."
"Yeah…" Element said, and she pulled out the galaxy stone. We have to find all the stones and keep them safe. That, I know."
"You took it with you?!?" exclaimed Aspect when she saw the stone. "Why would you do that? Didn't you see what it did to the others?"
"Yes I took it. I took It BECAUSE of what it did to the others. It's important! We know that now!"
Aspect sighed. Clearly, she wasn't going to get her to put it back, but they needed to be careful. "Ok. Fine. Just… Don't let the others anywhere near it, got it?"
"Sure." she muttered, and she put it back in her pocket. "I need to figure out what will happen when The Flame gets all the stones. I need quiet. Okay?" She said.
"Ok," agreed Aspect. She looked thoughtful for a moment. "Hey! I know a great, quiet place to think. Wanna see?" she asked the group.
Element shrugs.
"Yeah," Dylan said, putting the rest of his thoughts on hold, "Some thinking time will be useful."
"Okay, well, let's go. Follow me," Aspect said as she walked out the door of the lounge. Seeing that the crowd still hadn't left, she froze and turned back around. "Never mind. Let's go this way," she said, walking towards the other door.
Element shrugged again. "You should probably put on you're suit," she suggested, pointing to her own which was on her.
"I've been wearing it this whole time," Aspect said, glancing down at her silver jacket and then reaching up to make sure her matching mask was still on. "What, does this not look like a disguise? I mean, I thought it did."
Dylan cocked his head, "Suit? I don't really have one. But…" He closed his eyes and vanished, "…will this work?"
"Okay, that's still cool even though I've already seen you do it," Aspect laughed.
Dylan smiled, despite being cloaked. He was glad to see his rude interupption hadn't gotten them off on the wrong foot.
"Thanks." He said, "Your's ain't half bad, either. I bet that wolf nose could sniff me out, even through my invisibility."
Aspect chuckled. "Yeah, you bet it could!" she said competitively.
Element tapped her foot. "Can we go?" she asked after the 'flirting' was through.
"Can we go?" Element asked, sounding irritated.
Shocked, Aspect turned around to face her. "Uh, yeah. Let's go. Follow me," she said awkwardly.
Element followed, feeling inwardly victorious about flustering them. She loved making people uncomfortable, almost as much as she loved making them laugh. "So, how far away is this place?" she asked after a few minutes of silence.
"Not far," Aspect stated, glancing back at her friend. "Just a couple of blocks away."
(So… Aspect's secret identity has a bf… I hope he doesn't get mad at her! winces)
