"Hey hey… Oh. What happened to you? Here, lemme see those bandages." Element muttered and she sat up. She began to wrap her up as they talked.
Superhero Roleplay [Closed]
Dylan followed the man, keeping quiet most of the way. He twirled the daggers on his fingers as he went, thinking over what had happened to him. He had casted light: bright, powerful light, yet it hadn't blinded him at all.
That was the opposite of his abilities. He controled shadows with precision, and could dissapear in an instant. He wasn't capable of throwing out light with intensity. Yet he had just done it. And he could do both, he realized. But the darkness didn't send him into a spiraling rage. That he noted, and filed it away in his mind for later.
( may I just say that Dylan is SO FREAKIN AWESOME )
(He doesn't like it at all though. He's kinda grappling with his new thang, but the general idea is that he won't be on board with it.)
( may I just say that Dylan is SO FREAKIN AWESOME )
(Agreed!)

Element wrapped Avery's arm, and the two girls planned what to do next. They needed to find Dylan and the other guy, and then they needed to get back to focusing on the Flame.
()
"Hey… I have some information." Element said nervously. She told Avery about how she met her brother, and what he said about the stones. She left out the part that Ben was her BROTHER, and that her real name was Ari though.

(Lol. I wish I could eat Hot Pockets… sighs) (Gluten/wheat and dairy allergies… It sucks. But my best friend bought me gluten-free, dairy-free chocolate cupcakes for my birthday and they were amazing!!!)
( oh wow my best friend is INSANELY allergic to gluten! )
(My mom is really allergic, too. She spaces out when she eats just a little bit, like, a crumb-sized piece.)
( Woah. Sometimes, if my friend eats off of the same plate that something that contained gluten was on, she'd have migraines and throw up the next day. Okay thats kinda gross… we should continue the role-play! )
(Yes please!)
(Lol, yeah.)
"Anyways…. We gotta find the Time Stone." Element concluded.
(If I ever use the name "Kenzie," ignore it. It's from another RP I'm in. I've used Avery there twice now…)
"Okay, great! Now we have more information," Avery said. "Let's go find Dylan, now."
Element nodded. "Can Oscar help? Because I have no clue where Dylan went.

Vaughn stopped in front of a house moments later. It was a small building, looking quite normal. He to He was eager to see the younger boy, who he had grown a connection with from the times he had come to threaten his dad. He walked up to the front door and knocked, waiting. The door swung open and a women, who seemed to be in her fourties, stood in the doorway. “Mr.Finley! So great to see you again, please come in!” The woman explained and Vaughn stepped in, motioning for Dylan to follow him.
Avery laughed a little. "Yeah, Oscar can help. You get to ride shotgun, this time, and that's non-negotiable."
The girls made their way back to the car, which had already managed to find Dylan's location. All that was left to do was drive there.
"We should wait outside for him." Element suggested.
Dylan followed cautiously, frowning at his terrible appearance. He looked like hell, and there wasn't much he could do to change that.
He took a minute to brush himself off the best he could, then walked in to the living room to find the man and the family already chatting up a storm.
"Yes, we should," Avery agreed. She turned to Element and cocked an eyebrow at her. "How about we see what Oscar dig up about the Flame, hm?"
Element smirked and nodded. "That sounds good."
Grinning, Avery leaned back in her chair and said, "Oscar, search all databases for anything to do with 'the Flame,' please."
"Sure, thing, Avery," agreed the car.

A younger boy came bounding down the stairs an dover to Vaughn. “Vaughn! Daddy’s coming home soon!” The boy said, his tone happy despite the situation. Vaughn grimaced because the boy used his name in front of the man, but he was not about to correct him. The boy ran off a minute later and Vaughn sat with the mother. “It’s terrible, he thinks what his father’s does to us is completely normal,” the woman said sadly. “I’m sorry about that, ma’am. I’ll take care of it. Has he hurt you recently?” Vaughn asked, seeming no longer hostile, yet he still ignored the other man. The woman nodded, tears in her eyes as she lifted the side of her shirt to show the large, terrible looking bruise that was forming on her rib area. He frowned and nodded. “I’ll take care of this, I promise, ma’am.”
Dylan crossed his arms and leaned back in the corner, observing yet out of earshot. He watched as Vaughn and the woman talked quietly.
The woman began lifting her shirt, and Dylan was about to avert his eyes when he noticed the tinges of black. He stared, wide-eyed, as she revealed the full bruise on her ribs.
What in hell…
(This is sad.)
(Yep. I really wanna kill something now. Dylan is in straightup shock.)
