Ferran meandered down the sidewalk, dragging his feet. For someone with superspeed he sure was going slow.
School…why do I have to go when I'm a super?
Cus nobody knows that dumbo now hurry up!

He sighed. Upon looking up, he saw one of his friends ahead of him.
"HEY ALANNA!"

Alanna tensed up a little, then she realized it was her dorky friend, Ferran. She shifted the heavy binders and books in her hands as she turned around. How many of hours of sleep did I get…? “Hey.” Dude, there’s like, a good ten meters between you two. There’s no way he would’ve heard you, Dummy. Welp.

Ferran thought he saw her mouth move. He shrugged and jogged up to her. "Hey! How's it going? You look a little tired to be honest. Prolly cus you spent like, 6 hours on Pinterest yesterday."

Dude don't say that that's cREEPY.

“8, actually. Because I was on Pinny, but I panicked because I didn’t do homework. … then it turned out that I already did my homework.” Alanna signed, turning around to face her original direction.

"Shoot man." Ferran followed her as she continued to school. "That's become the norm for you right?"

Alanna cleared her throat and looked awkwardly in the other direction, “Perhaps. BuT, it’ll definitely change to be around homework once my teachers start becoming serious and start giving me a heck ton of homework.”

"Yeah." Ferran cleared his throat, trying not to make things too awkward.
Relax she's your best friend.
But maybe she doesn't know that…
"So…do you wanna hang out after school?"

“Sure.” Alanna nodded, shifting her books and binders to one hand to look at her watch. “Okay, so, we’re not going to be late.”
