Lolita blushed. She never got compliments, mostly because no one ever saw her. "It's nothing," she said softly. Out of the corner of her eyes, a dark blur was charging at her. Before she could react, something huge barreled into her and she hit the ground painfully. A sharp crackle filled her ears and a scorching hot pain covered her skull.
“Bad!” Pietro yelped, rushing over. “Agh, very very bad. I will get her to a hospital.” He picked up her limp form and raced off.

Lolita felt a shake running through her body. She shuddered violently, and her legs and waist turned invisible for a split second.
“What the @#%!” Pietro cried as half of his charge turned invisible. “Dam, everyone here has a superpower. And here I was thinking I was unique. Well, don’t to that in the hospital,” he told the half-conscious Lolita.

Heather picked up something and went running at the thing not knowing what to do she threw it at the thing she really hoped it wasn't a big mistake but it probably was…
The man whirled around to Heather, aiming his arm at her. Piper heard an all too familiar whirring sound and her breath caught. She leaped up, flipping over the man's head and landing in front of him. She grabbed his arm. Yes! it was metal, and on top of that, mechanical. Piper's eyes glowed an electric blue and the man fell to the ground, out cold. Piper grabbed her phone and called her friend. "Mei-ling? I need you to come take care of something." They conversed for a few minutes, then Piper took off towards the hospital. I can't believe it. After all I did to prevent all this, it still happened. She thought, worried for Lolita and feeling guilty for what had happened. It was her fault. Again. It always was.
