Kenzie noticed Hanna look towards another one of the girls, and saw that the girl was on the verge of tears. Compassion broke her heart, and she stood and walked over. When she reached the girl, she silently sat down next to her, offering a gentle smile.
T e e n a g e R o m a n c e ?
Swan shook her head vigorously, getting to her get shakily.
(alrighty)
(Whoops, didn't see the other posts!)
She noticed the girl sit next to her and glanced upwards, fists clenched in fear.
(XD.) (I'm really late, but I already have a character and it's gonna hop in.)
Yay welcome!)
"Are you okay?" Kenzie asked, her voice soft.
Swan shook her head, keeping her eyes on the floor. She tried signing, although she knew the girl probably didn’t know sign language. “Do you speak sign language?”, she signed.
Jackson groans when standing up. His back is wet, probably from sweat, he thinks, and his stomach feels bruised. Jax looks around to see teens huddling around each other talking frantically.
(I actually do speak a bit of ASL… :D)
"Yes," Kenzie signed back. "What's wrong?"
(Speak… I'm dumb… Know. I know a bit of ASL…)
No one answered her question, so Hanna walked up to the sticky not that Kenzie had left on the wall. "'Welcome, dears. Sorry for the frightening drop in, but you are here to find your soulmate, the person you are destined to be with for the rest of your days.'" She read out loud to herself. Hanna couldn't help but wonder what would happen if you didn't find your soulmate.
(Speak… I'm dumb… Know. I know a bit of ASL…)
(I do too!)
(I don't XD)

(Cool! I have a few friends that do, too. They know a lot more than I do, though…)

(Oh, cool!)
“Calm down!” Briar stuck two fingers in her mouth and blew. Out came a piercing whistle, which would hopefully get everyone to stop running around Like headless chickens.
"Ahh!" Kenzie shouted, covering her ears with her hands. The piercing whistle made her ears ring, and she glared at the girl who did it.
Hanna jumped and almost dropped the note, but instead she put it in her pocket. She turned towards the direction of where the sound came from. It was that girl again. The one with the nice eyes.
Jax jumps as a piercing whistle echoes through the room. He searches the room and finds a girl with chestnut locks holding two of her fingers in her mouth. Wow, that was loud.
“You all, relax!” Briar took her fingers from her mouth and stood to look at the other three teens that stood before her.
“I’m Briar O’Malley. Pleasure to meet you.” She folded her arms over her chest and gave them a friendly, but sarcastic smile.
Hanna gulped at the girl's confidence. Is that what all of them were supposed to be like? If so, Hanna wasn't going to find anyone by the end of this…whenever that was.
Jax smiled and stood up. "Hey, Briar. My name's Jax Delvo." He walked over to her and stuck out his hand.
"Anyone have any clue about how we're supposed to 'find our soulmate'?" Kenzie asked, using her fingers to make quotation marks as she spoke.
Seeing that the one boy, Jax, was so confident like Briar made Hanna seem like she needed to do something. Hanna walked up to the other two and smiled slightly. "I'm Hanna." She turned to the other girl who had just spoken.
“We..should interview one another..?” Briar winced at the lameness of her suggestion, but it seemed like it would work.
Jax smiled and stood up. "Hey, Briar. My name's Jax Delvo." He walked over to her and stuck out his hand.
(You left him hanging!)
Hanna nodded at the suggestion. "I think that would be best. We could learn more about each other really quickly."
Kenzie stood up and joined the group so that she wouldn't have to continue speaking from her spot on the ground.
"Alright. Then… What's everyone's favorite color? Mine's pink," she said, wincing inwardly at her boring question.
