Tale As Old As Time ~ Beauty and the Beast-based rp // One-On-One {Closed}

(Basically, I’m bored af and need a historical fiction-esque rp)

I’m looking for an intense, slow burn romance based off Beauty and the Beast, preferably in the era it was written for. Once someone joins, we’ll probably make a PM to flesh out more ideas.

Rules:

• No one liners, three sentences at minimum please
• Please don’t make up a character for this, use a relatively developed one
• No mary/gary sues

• No magic/powers other than what we plan

• As the Beast: Tall, close to seven feet, with broad shoulders and defined muscles on his limbs. A body covered in fur in varying shades of medium brown that’s surprisingly soft to the touch, two huge, thick horns atop his head that twist downwards (without doing the curly ram thing). Gorgeous, deep brown eyes that always hold traces of melancholy no matter his mood, sharp lower canines that protrude slightly over his upper lip.
• As a human: Messy dark hair, thick and a bit fluffy, with long, side-swept bangs that don’t cover his eyes. Tanned skin from hours spent in the garden, dotted with faint freckles and moles, a thin scar running across the bridge of his nose. Tall and semi-lean, with some muscle, but without being buff. Long legs, soft, nimble-fingered hands. Beautiful dark brown eyes lined with thick, almost girlish lashes, high cheekbones.
  General Attire: Prefers deep reds and blues, would wear his old, fine clothing if it fit him. Since it doesn’t, he travels for the most part in a large, simple pair of pants, leaving his broad chest bare.
  Personality: Very introverted and withdrawn, doesn’t like to speak much or waste words, merely says what is necessary and moves on. His transformation threw him into a deep depression, especially because he’d been ready to be with the woman he loved before he was changed. Deep, almost poetic thoughts, used to be an artistic soul but lost his passion when he was changed, the exact opposite of ‘flexible’ and ‘go with the flow’.
  Backstory: His parents always had very high expectations of him, after all, he had been the Prince, the only heir to the throne. At almost his seventeenth birthday, he was attacked my a masked woman claiming to be a sorceress trying to make his father and grandfather ‘pay for what they’d done.’ Most of the guests fled, and the few that remained were now reduced to nothing but animated organism, and he’s been in a bit of despair ever since.
