(Just realized I made my response too short)
After getting dressed and ready for school, she made her way out the door, Haiku jumping and landing on her shoulder. On her way she noticed people gathering by someone and their lion spirit animal. Hers however climbed on top of her head, not wanting to be anywhere near the larger animal.
Loki starts to get excited by all the spirit animals suddenly near him. "Calm down, Loki," Charlie says. Loki shakes his mane.

Jenny woke up, yawning. With an eagle. In her bedroom. Which was not there yesterday. I'm not sure whether or not I should scream…. she thought.

Lata moved Haiku off the top of her head and back onto her shoulder. Rolling her eyes at his behavior, she continued to walk.
Flit zipped around nervously. "Grace would love to!" She said nervously then tried to zip away from her. Grace grabbed her tail. "Yes. We'll come with you."
Charlie looks at Flit with eyes that look both sympathetic and ready to burst with laughter. "I'm sorry if Loki scares you. He doesn't try to. He's really a big softy if you're on his good side. And you're on his good side, right Loki?" Charlie says that last question through gritted teeth. Loki nods.
Grace laughed. "We better get going anyway. We're gonna be late!" She released Flit who perked up a bit and flew by her ear. "He can't hurt me. I know he can't" Flit was trying to reassure herself.
"I would if I could," Loki mutters, but Charlie hears him.
"Loki!" She scolds.
Cara slithered up Ben's leg and on to his arm hissing.
