The guys were distracted by Kenzie and Lloyd pulled himself to his feet, rubbing his shoulder with one hand. He reached for his bag, but the ringleader kicked it out of his reach, trapping him between the jocks and the lockers.

Veda heard a commotion and motioned for Eve to come on, and she jogged towards where the fight was happening. She snatched up the book bag on the floor, guessing that it belonged to the boy who was being bullied.
“Hey, assholes! Leave the guy alone,” she snapped, seeming confident in her tone.
(How..do I even jump in? Or..can someone give me a summary of what’s happened so far. I’m sorry I haven’t been very active with this roleplay.)
Lloyd looked between the new arrivals nervously. "I-I'm fine, you really don't have t-" He stopped when one of the guys glared at him dangerously, shrinking against the lockers. Usually, these guys were all talk, leaving when Lloyd would make them feel stupid, but they were angry about something now. Perhaps not Lloyd in particular, but they were taking out their anger on the person they knew couldn't fight back to save his life.

“It’s obviously not okay,” Veda stated, still holding the boys bag in her hand. She motioned with her hand to the side, still having a stern tone. “What’d I say? Or are you bloody dim too? Leave the guy alone.”
"Don't make me call the principal!" Kenzie warned. The principal was her uncle, and she was sometimes teased about being the "principal's pet," but it certainly came in handy in situations like these.
The jocks glared angrily at the two girls before leaving, seemingly deciding that Lloyd wasn't worth their time. Lloyd waited until they were out of earshot before thanking the two girls awkwardly, rubbing his shoulder again.
"It was no problem," Kenzie waved it off. "I'm just glad I could help. My name's McKenzie, by the way. You can just call me Kenzie, though."

Veda shook her head slowly, watching the jocks walk away. “What a bunch of douches..” she muttered. She turned towards the boy again, smiling brightly and back to her normal, cheeky self. “I believe this belongs to you,” She said, holding out his backpack.
(Eh. I’m just gonna throw my character in I think I kind of have the right to, seeing that I was the organizer)
Briar was watching the whole situation play out from afar. She walked over to Kenzie and asked
“What’s up with jocks? I mean, it seems like they’re always on some sort of power-high..probably because of all those steroids they inhale, practically.”
"I-I'm Lloyd. Lloyd Windsor." He shook Kenzie's hand politely. "Thanks again… usually those guys are all talk, but they seem ticked off about something… I guess they decided to take it out on me because I cant fight back for the life of me." He laughed weakly, looking away.
Kenzie turned to face the girl who'd just appeared and shrugged. "I don't know, but I should talk to my uncle about it," she stated.

“It wasn’t a problem at all, glad to help. I’m Veda, also,” she said quickly. She glanced at the girl who just walked up. “My guess is heroin or some drug like that,” she commented, shrugging her shoulders.
"I've seen them smoking something after school, but from a distance that it was difficult to tell whether it was just cigarettes or something… stronger…"
"Great. Uncle Lance won't like that…" Kenzie muttered under her breath.

Veda let out a brief whistle and shook her head. “Yeah, we’ll, they’ll get what they deserve from that,” she said in the dark style joke.
Lloyd could hear Kenzie mutter something, but couldn't tell exactly what it was. He decided not to ask and just stood awkwardly, feeling extraordinarily out of place with the older students.
Kenzie looked at the younger boy and smiled. "So, what's your name, kid?" she asked gently.

(Wait, I think he already said what his name was lmao.)
(Whoops! Ignore that, then…)
"Er, Lloyd Windsor. P-pleasure to meet your acquaintance." He bowed his head slightly before flushing in embarrassment, realizing how strange that must seem. Honestly, who but him would say 'Pleasure to meet your acquaintance' instead of something normal, like 'nice to meet you'?
(Nah I'll just respond lol)
(Oh, ok.)
Kenzie's smile grew. What a nerd, she thought happily. He's funny.
"Oh, no. The pleasure's all mine," she argued, curtsying to him.
He flushed harder, feeling like he was being mocked even though he knew that wasn't her intention. "I-I'm sorry, that must be strange… I mean, nice to meet you?" He offered awkwardly.

Veda watched the pair and stifled a laugh. “It would be great to stand around and laugh for the rest of the school day, but I’ve got to go find my locker,” she said, slinging her light yellow book bag over her shoulder and peering down at her schedule.
"Oh! Right! We have to get to class!" Lloyd grabbed his bag from the ground, stumbling a bit as he lifted it. "Why did I ever think it was a good idea to carry all my textbooks?" He shook his head, looking disappointed in himself. He slung the bag back over his shoulder, wincing a bit as it rubbed against the fresh bruise.
"No, no, it's fine! I just thought it was funny," Kenzie reassured Lloyd. Facing Veda she said, "Okay. Well, I'm kinda the designated helper around here—seeing as my uncle's the principal and all—so if you need help finding anything you can just ask, okay?"
(Aaaand… I was late…)

Veda looked over at Kenzie and nodded, smiling brightly again. “Thanks, mate,” she responded, already seeming friendly. She walked down the hall, blowing her pink strands of hair from her face. She eventually found her locker and checked her schedule, keeping the books she needed inside her bag and putting the others into the locker.
Lloyd made his way towards his next class quickly, arriving just in time and hurrying to the back, making sure he didn't look like he had just been beat up. He put his bag on the floor beside him and tapped his foot anxiously as he waited for the lesson to start.
