Honestly I have no idea, okay?

Ok

@ConstanceAtticus

I shoot Addison a text quickly.
on the front doorstep.

@blue_topaz

I grab my bags, walking over to the man and checking his pulse. He’s alive. I sigh, pulling out my gun. We can’t let him live, we don’t know what he’s heard. Cocking the gun, I press it to his forehead, just as his eyes fly open, illuminated with fear. I grin wickedly. “Bye-Bye.”

The bullet goes through his head, imbedding itself in the wall. Satisfied, I walk out.

@ConstanceAtticus

I hear the gunshot distantly, and the woman at the desk and myself both flinch at the exact same time. I sigh, my hands shaking a little. Then both Addison and Adelaide show up outside the door next to me from the hall.

@blue_topaz

I wave hello to Oakley. “All ready?”

@ConstanceAtticus

"Yeah." I swallow, steeling myself. "All ready." I pretend not to notice the small bloodtsain on the sleeve of Adelaide's shirt, and remind myself that even though I had a certain fondness for her friendship, and we had made a blood pact, she was still mio nemico, a capulet, worthy of toppling an entire country in a day.

@blue_topaz

She knows. So What? I tell myself, shoving down the guilt rising in my stomach. “Off we go, then.” I flash a smile at the other lady. “We’re off to Sicily for a bit.”

@ConstanceAtticus

"Let's go." I gesture to the street and she follows me into the darkness.

@blue_topaz

I follow, letting Addison take the lead.

(We should probably wait for Natasha)

@ConstanceAtticus

definitely. That's a goodnight for now I guess. Continue tomorrow?

@blue_topaz

(Sure! ‘Night)

@Natasha

(Imma here)

@Natasha

Addison was alarmed by the fact that Adelaide had killed that man. But she led them to the house, but not directly. She couldn't risk someone following them. So she led them through alleyways and dirt roads, winding around in a few circles before finally bringing them to the house, which was hidden in the forest. After all, how else would they hide a house of that size? She opened the door with her key and then closed the door behind them. "Make yourselves at home. There are three floors going up and a basement, and about twenty bedrooms. We can stay together or be on opposite sides and ends of the house. That's up to you."

@ConstanceAtticus

"Is there an attic?" I raise an eyebrow, gesturing to the staircase.

@blue_topaz

I spin around in the heel of my ankle boot. “This is perfect..”, I breathe. “Thanks, Addi. Can I call you that, by the way?”

@Natasha

"After the third floor, yes. You can get there by the ladder attached to the end of the hall on the third floor."

@ConstanceAtticus

"This really is a beautiful place, Addison. Thank you." I say meaningfully.

@Natasha

Addison laughed. "I haven't been called Addi in a long time. I would love to hear it more often though, so, go ahead."

@Natasha

Addi nodded at Oakley. "No problem. I guess this would be the second time I saved you though?" She joked teasingly.

@ConstanceAtticus

And then I smile at them both and race up the staircase laughing. I hurry up three flights of stairs and then pull on the ladder attached to the ceiling, finding a room bathed in white light, bare-bones empty. This is perfect. A large wall-width window is at one end of the triangle shaped room, and I sigh with happiness.

(i always wanted a room in an attic for some reason idk why)

@blue_topaz

I grin. “Thank you. My eyes soften with something, something that should not be happening. I cannot be weak, especially not now. “I’m good with any room, as long as it has a window and a nice view.”

@ConstanceAtticus

Addi nodded at Oakley. "No problem. I guess this would be the second time I saved you though?" She joked teasingly.

"Ah, come on Addison. I always knew you'd be the one doing all the saving here." I laugh jokingly

@Natasha

"So basically any room in this house except the basement." Addison answered Adelaide. Then she called after Oakley, "Yeah, you two might be the terrifying ones, but I'm the secret weapon who knows more than she says." She said with a hint of teasing.

@ConstanceAtticus

As soon as I'm up in my room, I shout a quick 'this attic is officially Montague only!' at the girls down the hall and then close the staircase. I set all my clothing bags down and start putting things in the empty closet. I have two pairs of shoes now- my booted high heels and a pair of scarlet high top converse. After that's done, I go through all my clothes. I bought two pairs of shorts and three pairs of jeans, and one dress with a black halter top and a rose design on the hip. I two sweaters, one grey hoodie and one knit emerald sweater. And then I've got one halter tank top with navy stripes, and four tee shirts of all solid neutral colors. Enough to get me by for a long time.

"I am terrifying!" I shout back down at her. "I'll slit your throat and make it look like a bloody accident, ya hear me Grace! Be afraid of the dreaded scarlet Montague!"

@Natasha

With that, Addi fell to the ground in a fit of giggles.

@ConstanceAtticus

I heard Addi laughing distantly and shook my head, smiling. I got to work shaking out the white sheets on the rusty bedframe in front of the window and watched the night shine over the land around us. I had a perfect vantage point. Half the reason I'd chosen this room was out of a pure girlish desire for an attic room, but the other half was strategy. A good mix of badass Mafia and a teenage girl, I supposed. There was no furniture, so I set my purse on the ground next to my bed and fell on the mattress, sighing happily.

Florence snagged the girl's number as she left. She grabbed a public phone, and: "Hey."

@Natasha

Addi went up to a random room and opened the door. "This will be my room, you can stay near me or as far away as you want." Addi told Adelaide.
