Cael sighed softly, knowing it was probably nothing. It had to be nothing. He shook his head a little bit, taking another sip of his drink.
The Angel and the Demon - Soulmates? // OxO // Closed
Sebastian hummed, looking back to the stage and band, sipping at his beer. What is this feeling?
Cael moved a little, and felt the warmth grow stronger, and…light? He frowned a little, glancing down at his chest. He zipped up his jacket after a moment, shaking his head. Something's wrong.
Sebastian heard a few whispers around him, glancing down to see his chest glowing. "The fuck…?"
Cael shifted, eyes flashing around the room. His eyes landed on another male, whose chest was…also glowing? He blinked, and remembered when the peace between the Demons and the Angels had happened. What that entailed. Soulmates.
Sebastian shook his head, deciding to just deal with this later. Or never.
He took a deep breath, shaking his head. No. He wouldn't deal with this now.
Sebastian fidgeted slightly. Yeah, he was curious about his soulmate, but that didn't mean he was ready to deal with this shit. Or if they possibly hated him. Which he wouldn't blame them for.
Cael didn't want a soulmate. He didn't want a demon as his soulmate. He'd rather be alone forever than that.
Sebastian bit his lip, anxiety flooding his veins as he got up, practically running to rejoin the small crowd at the foot of the stage.
Cael watched the male with a glowing chest go, taking a deep breath, and then another sip of his drink.
Why does this have to happen now? He thought, trying to focus on the band, feeling the light and warmth die down.
He let out a breath, closing his eyes tightly for a moment, shaking his head.
If I ever feel that again, I'm gonna scream.Sebastian thought, shaking his head. I ain't ready for this!
Cael ordered another drink, having already finished his first. No way in hell was he going to deal with this.
Sebastian lost himself in the music again, smile having returned to his face.
Cael listened to the music, taking another sip of his drink and closing his eyes.
Sebastian glanced back, still a little curious.
The faint glow of Cael's chest was visible, a warm color that waited for his soulmate.
Sebastian looked down the second he saw him, cheeks turning red. SHIT-
Cael had his eyes closed still. He didn't want to see his…soulmate.
NO NO NO NO I'M TOO GAY FOR THIS- He bit his lip, eyes widening slightly, knowing he looked very dumb.
He opened his eyes after a moment, and caught the other male staring at him. His golden eyes flashed away, and he took a big sip of his drink.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA- Sebastian swallowed, fidgeting again.
Cael let out a slow breath, shaking his head a little bit. I can't.
Seb, pull your gay ass together. He did not pull his gay ass together. He straight up ran out of the bar.
Cael blinked as the other ran out, raising his eyebrows. He shook his head slightly. Doesn't matter.
Sebastian stopped in a nearby alleyway, leaning against the wall and holding his head in his hands.
Cael finished his drink and paid, leaving the bar. He paused outside, taking a deep breath of the cool evening.
Sebastian took a deep, shaky breath, ignoring the footsteps growing closer to him. Great job, Seb, you meet your soulmate and you're reaction is the run out of the bar? Geeze, ya lil dork! He could practically hear the voice of his old friend as he leaned back against the wall, head tilted back to face the night sky, black locks spilling over his shoulders.
