"Who says I'm playing with your feelings." He replied whispering in her ear.

Her breath caught in her throat. "I-I don't even know if you killed Leah or not."

"and what difference does it make if I did or not?" He asked in the same gentle tone

"She wasn't right, was she?" Peggy blurted. "Have you ever loved her?"

He shook his head, trying to keep a low growl from bursting from his chest "I knew her when we were younger. I cared for her as a brother would a little sister, but I never saw her as than a friend. Now, less." He said, sadness entering his voice. She wasn't like this all the time."

"Oh. I kinda wish I could've known her before… everything changed."

He shrugged and continued walking "It was a long time ago…" he sighed and opened the hotel lobby door for her and Chara. Raziel turned to his pack "thank you once again. I owe you." One of the males turned into his human form and clapped Raziel on the back "You owe us nothing Alpha." He nodded and shifted back, barking to the pack and then turning back to Raziel with a nod.

Peggy smiled at Raziel softly and waited for him.

Raziel nodded as the pack ran off, disappearing off into the alleyways. He turned back to Peggy and chara, heading inside to the building and towards the elevator "how are you feeling? he asked peggy

"Good, I guess," she replied. " Better, at least, now that Jack isn't in my head. "

His hand witched slightly at the mention of the monster that had invaded Peggy's mind for years but Raziel composed himself "Good," he stepped into the Elevator swiftly, ready for years of suffering to end.

Peggy followed, sighing softly. "I'm sorry you had to see me kill him like that."

"I've seen worse love. Much worse. He glanced down at Chara, pain in his eyes "soon girly. wait a bit." he muttered softly, leaning against the railing, for once looking exhausted

She worriedly looked at Raziel. "Are you alright?"

He glanced up and splayed his arms, inviting her to be near him "just a lot of pain love. And it's finally going away."

Peggy stepped closer and into his embrace. "I'm glad."

He nodded and kissed her brow. He stepped out of the elevator with her and with Chara by his side

She followed him with a small smile.

Raziel stopped beside the door to listen for something inside. He took his hotel key out and opened the door, leading the two inside.

Peggy followed his steps slowly. "What was it you needed from Leah?"

He held up a vile full of blue liquid "this." He grabbed a cup from the kitchen, filled it with a bit of water and poured the liquid in. He set it down

"What does it do?" Peggy asked curiously.

"Allows her to shift." He said, bending down and poured the liquid into the bowl. "It should work within 24 hours."

"Oh. .. Why couldn't she before?" Peggy asked, stroking Chara's fur reassuringly.

"Something Leah did out of jelousy." He glanced at Chara and nodded, nudging the bowl towards her. "She was jealous of out bond and decided to punish Chara instead of me." He said, watching as she drank from the bowl

"That's awful," Peggy murmured.

He nodded "Yeah, so she cursed her to never be human again unless I formed a relationship with her." he shook his head and petted Chara's head as she placed it in his lap, growing sleepy.

Peggy stroked Chara's fur softly. She shook her head. "That's just not right."

He shook her head "It wasn't. Now she won't be many of a problem." he tugged Peggy close and kissed her temple "Thank you." he muttered
