She brought her hand up to graze the skin on the side of his head by his eye" your eyes… they're beautiful"
The begining
He smiled softly and leaned into her hand "thanks, I get them from dad."
She leaned in and kissed him gently
Brink smiled softly and kissed her back, slowly drawing his lips over hers
She drawed back so thier lips were brushing against each other's " I don't know what this means or you want it to mean I'm horrible with relationships I've never had a serious one but I do know that I really like you" she said
He stroked her cheek and gazed into her eyes “kitty cat, if your bad with relationships, I’m worse. I’ve never been in one that’s not a family relationship. So don’t worry too much about it. We’ll take things slow. Okay?”
She smiled softly " okay" she said cupping his cheek
He leaned into her hand and pressed a kiss to her palm
She smiled " I like it when you do that" she admitted
He smiled softly and pressed another kiss to her wrist before pulling away to put everything back
"again sorry about the mess I didn't plan on running into you" she said
“It’s okay, this is probably the most eventful thing that’ll happen tonight anyways,”
Vanessa gave out a short laugh and layed her forehead on his shoulder
He kissed her head and set everything aside “so are you staying with us or going back home?”
" I'll stay with you" she said
Brink nodded and stood “want to shift or is too painful?”
" it'll hurt but I guess I can" she said
Bring nodded and held out his arms so he could catch Ness when she shifted
Vanessa took a deep breath and shifted into a black cat
Brink scooped her up and gently settled her within his pocket to keep her warm
She purred and layed down on the fabric closing her eyes
He rested a hand on her back to secure her as he stood and walked out of the building towards home
I didn't take long for them to reach brinks home at least two Vanessa didn't that might have been because she fell asleep as soon as his hand hit her back
Brink explained to his parents about Vanessa when he got home and unsurprisingly to him, they let her stay. He pulled her out of the jacket pocket and set her down in his bed with a blanket thrown over her curled up form
Vanessa was still fast asleep curled up as a black cat
He pressed a kiss to her fuzzy little head and turned all the lights off. "Night, kitty cat." he said softly, closing the door a bit but not fully. He changed and went to bed in the spare bedroom
Sometime during the night Vanessa had woken up she gently open her eyes and shifted back into a human to where she was sitting on the edge of the bed with her feet dangling off the side
Harley walked by and peeked inside. She smiled and leaned against the threshold "I always knew you and Brink would nd up together….now Jacks owes me 5 bucks. Thanks for that. You doing okay? Brink told me what happened."
" my head hurts" she said stranding up but stumbling a bit
Harley held out her hands "It's alright. Just sit down for now and relax. You're safe….safer….eh, kinda, here. just stay put for a second."
