She waved a hand to the couch "sit and take off your jacket and top. Brink head downstairs. You don't need to see a girls underthings until you're older. Your dad should be there. Jack's get the medical supplies from the bathroom." She instructed
The begining
As Soon as she ´thought´ Brink left, She took her jacket and her top off.
Brink headed downstairs with his dad to practice while Jacklynn found the medical supplies
she sat there waiting for pain.
Harley sat down next to Vanessa "so whatcha do to get shot?" She asked, he hands expertly dabbing at the wound with a cloth
¨Your Son Suggesed I Try to catch a bullet¨"she said.
She breathed a laugh "sounds like him. And you went along with it?" She arched an eyebrow
¨seemed like a good challenge¨ she said.
Harley nodded and pulled out a deringer "you okay with me giving you Novocaine?"
she nodded ¨yeah it´s fine¨.
Harley nodded and pulled out a small needle. She counted down from three and stuck the needle near the bullet wound
Vanessa let out a small percing shriek.
"yeah, sorry bout that but it'll hurt more wtthout it." Harley said, pulling out the needle
Brink started to sing a song to block out yelling from upstairs "clocks tick, bugs hum, words of fun for everyone, never a dull moment when your in crazy town downtown birds fly upside down."
¨I´ll get used to it¨ she said.
Harley nodded "in this life, you really will." She sighed softly and ledned back on the couch, waiting for novacaine to kick in
Vanessa sighed " ain't that the truth " she said to no one in particular.
She opened her eyes and regarded Vansessa thoughtfully "so did you follow my kids around town or did they find you?"
" Brink found me and we did some destruction" Vanessa said with a soft smile
"might want to word that a little differently." Harley grinned and gently nudged Vanessa's shoulder "I'm assuming that's why Jacks didn't come home with that wretch I'd a boyfriend?" She asked
" No he's going to date your daughter and then call Catwoman's daughter fine I don't think that's going to be a very good relationship" she said.
"I tried telling her that but kids are a while new wildcard." She smiled and took a thin pair of tweezers. "You might feel some tugging bit no pain."
Vanessa nodded with a small smile
He deep blue eyes gazed down at the wound. She extracted the bullet and dropped it into a tray. Jacks had joined them, perching on the couch arm
"I should probably get home before my mom hunts me down and claws me to death"Vanessa said in a joking manner but she was dead serious Xavier
"you're sure? You can stay here if you want to heal up a little." Harley said as she wrapped Vanessa's shoulder in a bandage and gauze
" no I'd rather not be killed" she said with a sad smile.
Harley nodded and stood "stay here until I get you a shirt that doesn't have a bullet holes."
Vanessa nodded as she turned to Jacklyn " your brother he's…kinda Mysterious" she said
Jacklynn nodded with a smirk “yeah, gets that from dad.” She lies down on the back of the couch, balancing on the edge. “
Vanessa smiled " he's just different I expected him to be like the rest of the low life's but he's not" she said
