Norkhal’rokh sighed, sitting up and looking out the window. His shoulders had tensed considerably, and he refused to look at either of them.
Nori tilted his head, watching Nok with his hawk-like eyes. "Whats on your mind?"

Norkhal’rokh glanced over at the door as Kane left, then turned back to the window. A familiar sense of dread filled him, one he had hoped not to feel until the next family reunion.
“I… That whole… ‘incident’ I suppose would be a suitable name, reminds me of my shaky relationship with my brother,”he reluctantly admitted.
kane came back with some icecream for all of them, waiting in the door way a minute
Nori looked down, remembering what it was like to be reminded of something awful.
"Oh. I-I'm sorry." He stuttered out, wings drooping slightly.
kane finally walked in squeaking softly

“It’s alright, Nori. Just… You don’t have to be nearly as stubborn as you just were. Okay?”he asked, his voice becoming quiet.
He then noticed Kane and smiled softly.
Nori sighed, crossing his arms. He was notoriously stubborn. Maybe he could try to change that…
He followed Nok's gaze to Kane, smiling happily. "thanks!"

Norkhal’rokh saw the way Nori crossed his arms, but didn’t comment. It reminded him a lot of his brother though. Stubborn, unaccepting, pitying. The last thing Norkhal’rokh wanted was pity, and that was usually the first thing offered by his brother, let alone the rest of the family.
“Thank you, Kane,”he said, his voice subdued.
He took the ice cream, eating it quietly as he stared into oblivion, feeling so out of place next to the other two.
kane shook his head, putting his legs on noks. " you ever gonna lay me down pretty boy?" he joked to lighten his mood

Norkhal’rokh looked over at Kane, smiling appreciatively.
“Oh, don’t worry. I’ve got something in mind for when we get home,”he replied with a mischievous grin. He still seemed a bit upset, but he was trying to calm down at least.
kane smiled an ate his icecream
Nori laughed, holding Kane closer to his chest. “I can’t wait, personally”

Norkhal’rokh chuckled.
“Tonight sounds a lot more appealing than a few days,”he commented.
Nori nodded. "I agree. hopefully we can all go back to normal soon… whatever the hell that is."

Norkhal’rokh laughed,”Definitely.”
Kane waited for the nurse to come back with his discharge papers, soon he got to leave.

“So, shall we head home?”Norkhal’rokh asked.
"yes!" He wrote

“Come along then,”he said cheerily, happy to finally leave.
Edmund waited for them as usual and Norkhal’rokh helped Kane into the car.
Nori sighed with relief. "Thank god." He bound his wings again, then grabbed his jacket. "Shall we?" He asked, holding out both hands to Kane and Norkhal’rokh

“Relaxation for the three of us? That’s all I can think of at the moment,”he commented.
Nori nodded, putting his hands in the air. "Thank god. That's all I want to do."
