Link waved back. "Jeez, is everyone here not a morning person? You all exhausted, except for Josh, and he's just drinking an incredibly strong drink, which is probably the only reason he's perkier than the rest of you."

“No no no… I’m usually active at this time but…” he yawned “Last night I slept at three in the morning just because I was reading a novel…”
"That's right Link. The only reason that I'm awake is because of this."
Josh says as he takes another sip.
Josh walks to the counter and takes an order. And then makes a black coffee.
Link stood there with her hands on her hips, frowning at andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) before sighing and asking, "Okay, why don't you tell me what my duties are going to be?"
Cat heard Link and sort of popped up beside her. She kept the smile on her face. “Same here,”

Damien walked into the café and heard the bells jingle as the door closed. It seemed as though everyone was much more tired than usual and lagging behind in their actions. "Hey guys," Damien greeted as he went towards the storage. He got the push broom and started sweeping the floors before people started coming in.

“Usually there are two kinds of jobs; the front of the shop and the back of the shop. For you, I would think at a back of the shop job would suit you. There are things like making drinks, making dishes and decorating them…” he glanced at the clock.
“Okay we’ve got sometime… for example…” he grabbed a heart shaped plate from his bag.
“I was thinking of having another dish on the menu, Crepe Suzette, though it’ll be a non-alcohol recipe so I bought these yesterday…” he looked over at the counter.
“For other menus, there will be a label for what dish they’ll be served on or in some cases people will want a takeaway, the bags are to the left end of the counter” he pointed there and set down the heart shaped plate.
“Want to try and make something?” He asked, resting his hands on his hip.
Link nodded and grabbed a pair of plastic gloves and asked, "What should I make?"
"We don't have anyone, yet." Josh replied
Link squirmed impatiently. She wanted to be useful…

andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) softly smiled at Link.
“No worries… we can always eat them ourselves. How about a drink and a dish…” he thought about it a little. “A cup of latte and a tuna sandwich” he suggested, gesturing to the ingredient counter. Everything was clearly labeled and clean, probably thanks to Harmony.

Harmony drank her beverage. She seemed more… amiable when she was tired.

andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) had to giggle silently when he saw Harmony’s actions, this was a rare scene indeed.

"So. I guess we all live pretty close to each other, huh." Harmony smiled tiredly to herself.

“Apparently so” andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) shrugged and smiled.

She took a sip of her coffee.
"How come none of us have ever noticed it? Most of us have been working here for a good amount of time."

“My guess would be that we’ve never gone home at the same time” andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) took a wild guess.

"Yeah, that's true." Harmony tapped her coffee cup with her finger.
"I guess your right andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)."
Josh says.
Link presented her creation that she had made in the meantime to andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer). "Is… this good…?"

andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) took a thorough look.
“The latte looks good, let’s see how it taste…” he took a sip. He thought about it for a moment and took another sip. “It’s good, but I think you added a little too much milk, just a little though” he said setting the cup down.
“I’ll finish that soon…” he said as he examined the sandwich Link made.
“This one, the filling to bread ratio is good, though I forgot to mention that we serve these without the crust, that was my fault” he apologized, smiling at Link’s creation.
Link sighed but then straightened. "I'll do better next time!" she said with determination.

andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) gave her a soft smile.
“Don’t worry too much about it, just enjoy what you’re doing” he comforted her and went back to sipping the latte Link made.
Link asked, "May I try again?" She looked eager to learn and do better.

“Sure, go ahead” with that, he finished the first cup of latte easily. That wasn’t even five minutes after the drink was made so it was still probably burning hot when he downed it.
"Can I have the rest of the coffee that Link made?"
Josh asked.

andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) looked at Josh, slight guilt running down his spine.
“You can have the next one” he nervously laughed.
Link grinned. "What do you want me to make, Josh? It'll be good practice for me."
"Sure, get the practice."
Replies Josh.
