The Cursed (Fantasy Adventure RP) [CLOSED!]

In a fantasy world, where different kinds of magic are practiced by certain families only, there is a darkness taking over. The kingdom of Olera is being overcome by the night. The nature is dying, the waterfalls are refusing to fall, and only the 'cursed' children can stop it. Long ago, the queen of that time was given a prophecy - a prophecy that stated the cursed people from different families will fight the darkness and can restore Olera to it's original state. Finally, the prophecy is being brought to action.

There are 20 families to choose from. Each character can only be a part of two, no less, no more. They are named 'cursed' because they have two powers, which makes them weaker than others. Each power is also weaker than people with only one power. To explain more simply, The Cursed are unable to use each power to their full extent and tire from using their powers quicker. If they use their powers too much, it will tap into their life force for energy and they can die. If someone's already taken two families, you can't take the same ones. I'll put people's names next to the elements when they take them. Some elements can't be mixed because either they're too similar or contradict each other.

Evenbash Family: Earth (rocks, dirt, etc. can't have much control or can't perform well if Cursed) - @hockeyfangirl10

Ambersky Family: Energy/Light (energy orbs, control over light, etc. can only use either energy or light if Cursed) - @ShadeStar

Nightingale Family: Shapeshifting (pretty self explanatory, if Cursed can only change their physical attributes or change into animals, not both) - @CharlieK & Qxeenscryche

Dewdancer Family: Water (control over water, cannot create it out of thin air and can't hold it for long if Cursed) - @hockeyfangirl10

Emberbow Family: Fire (control over fire and immunity to fire, can't control very well, keep the fire going for long or survive very long in fire if Cursed) - Qxeenscryche & @DancingRubberChicken

Clearmoon Family: Summoning (can summon things from thin air, if Cursed can only summon small things or the power gets completely cancelled out and cannot be used) - @slytherinsong

Ravenspear Family: Healing (ability to heal all injuries and maybe bring people back from death, if Cursed can only heal minor injuries) - @CharlieK

Foretime Family: Prophecy (can see into the future, get visions and sometimes spit out prophecies, if Cursed they get strange visions that hardly ever mean anything important) - @ImNotCrazyImAFangirl

Havenwood Family: Fighting (can make weapons out magic, if Cursed can only make one weapon and it doesn't last long) - @LeafyLemur

Hawkbane Family: Shadow (can manipulate shadows and move through them, if Cursed can only move the shadows around) - @Nerd_Girl2.0

Lossless Family: Potions (can create 'potions' and project them through their hands, if Cursed can only make small amounts and they're not very good/powerful)

Wildmore Family: Animal (can control and speak to animals, if Cursed can only speak to them) - @LeafyLemur

Starling Family: Telepathy (can use telekinesis and telepathy, when cursed can only use one and not very well) - @ScarletAndHerSides

Izaric Family: Air (can control air, wind and can fly, if Cursed can't create wind or air but can fly using already existing wind) - @ImNotCrazyImAFangirl

Dreambreaker Family: Time (can manipulate time, stopping and going back and forth in time a few weeks, if Cursed can only go back, forward or stop time for a few minutes at most) - @slytherinsong

Estenal Family: Charms (can curse people with bad things and give people charms like good luck, if Cursed can only curse or charm, and they don't last nearly as long) - @ShadeStar

Tworoot Family: Nature (control over plants, if Cursed can only grow things or control one type of plant like trees or flowers) - @DancingRubberChicken

Areida Family: Weather (control over the weather, if Cursed can only change it to one kind of weather, so they can only control one aspect of the weather) - @ScarletAndHerSides

Orbward Family: Invisibility (can turn invisible, if Cursed can only become transparent) - @Nerd_Girl2.0

RULES:

• One character each
• Males exist. Make them.
• Ships are definitely allowed, just ask before you ship your character with someone else's
• Ask before you join
• Ask if you can take two families, don't just take them
• Don't leave anyone out or behind, try to include the character without controlling them
• Don't do something for the sake of doing something, give it purpose
• Make your characters at least a little normal, nothing too weird
• Nothing too OP and no Mary-Sues or Gary-Stus. You'd think the limitations on the powers would prevent anything OP, but some people have a terrible talent for creating Mary-Sues/Gary-Stus.
• Be nice outside the RP to other RPers and anyone stalking the RP
• Use proper grammar
• If someone's done something a little weird or have skipped ahead, feel free to go back and restart the scene (if everyone else agrees, of course)
• If someone other than me says you can join, don't. Wait for me to say you can join.
• If you break any of the rules, especially the being kind to others, you're out of the RP

Powers: visions and flight
Weakness: Visions cause giant headaches, can’t control when they show up, flight tires him out easily
Limit: visions are sporadic and he can’t control when they come, and flight for maybe ten minutes before needing a short break

(I may have not explained this well, but how it works is that the characters are from two families, and that's what makes them cursed. So you each need to take two families and make one character from them with combined powers. Sorry, that's a fault on my part for not explaining properly.)

Powers: can heal minor injuries and shapeshift into animals only
Weakness: when he shapeshifts, he's stuck in the form for a little while before he can change back and no matter what animal it is it's completely black with purple eyes
Limit: If he starts trying to heal injuries like broken bones or worse, he could die
