The Elemental Games (Stalkers welcome)

Diren knew he was in Air and he knew he needed to get out. As the footsteps faded, he cautiously rose out of his hiding place and glanced around.

Once the search party for the boys had vanished, Caya lowered herself even further. She looked from one to the other, waiting to see what they'd do. If they ran, she could easily catch them. But if they wanted to talk… She was very interested in what they would have to say.

Diren tensed as an Air girl came into view. He said nothing, watching closely.

"What are you doing here?" she asked, letting the wind carry her voice to both boys.

Killian winced and flipped over the rock and into view. "Hiding, duh."

"Why?" she easily retorted. Oh, this was her element now. She expanded her wings outwards to project dominance.

Diren stifled laughter. I can stay long enough to watch this.

Caya's eyes shifted quickly in his direction. "Does something about this… amuse you?"

"What? No, nothing." He shrugged solemnly. "You were saying, miss?"

I forgot I was part of this, what have we done so far?//

(Uh, Caya is trying to figure out what Diren and Killian are doing in Air territory. And Ara splashed her brother.)

"What? No, nothing." He shrugged solemnly. "You were saying, miss?"

Caya arched her eyebrows. "What are you doing in my territory?"

"…Things." Diren crossed his arms. "Looking around."

"What's your name?" she asked, moving gracefully through the tree until she touched down on the ground.

"Diiiiren?" He straightened uneasily. "Let me guess, you're…Scarlet? Vanessa? Cassandra?"

"Savannah," she cooed, knowing better than to give her real name to this strange Earth boy. She began to walk towards him. "You were close."

Diren flashed his teeth but stayed were he was. "Something like that. Next question?"

"Why are you here?" She stopped less than a foot away from him and looked up at him with enchanting eyes.

Again," Diren gritted his teeth but didn't look away, "I am looking around."

She arched her eyebrows innocently, pretending to be curious. "For what?"

He shrugged nonchalantly. "Maybe I'm looking for a way out."

"How did you happen to wander here in the first place?" she asked slowly.

Diren feigned thoughtfulness. "I…ran? On my feet?"

Killian watched the others with interest, snickering at how uncomfortable Diren looked

"Why were you running?" she pressed, ignoring the other boy's laughs that the wind carried to her ears.

"I'm in Air territory," he replied. "I'm from Earth. Earth doesn't belong in Air."

"Clearly," Caya purred. "I could have you arrested just for being here. You must have a good reason. Were you running… from someone?"

"Someones." Diren scowled up at her through his hair. "A gang. Which you could be part of."

Killian stopped laughing "which gang?" He askex

"Yes, which gang?" she asked, suddenly intense.
