Zhira drank her coffee, relishing the warmth that flowed through her veins. Once finished, she stood and tossed the trash, hesitating before ducking back outside into the cold. She looked around for the drunk men, and sighed with relief when they were nowhere to be found. Shivering slightly, Zhira began to walk away from the coffee shop when someone grabbed her from behind.
"Hey! Let me-" her cries were muffled as a dirty and disgusting hand covered her mouth. She struggled and kicked, but her attempts were futile as her and her attacker ducked into an empty alley nearby. He set her down and she whirled on him, ready to fight, but her attacker gripped her arm in an iron grip, "Mmm" he said, "I need to thank whomever made this gem"
Something inside Zhira snapped. She felt warmth spread throughout her body and all of her muscles tensed. Then, her view changed. Now she was looking up at him? The man's eyes widened and he turned to run screaming like a scared child.
i know Im not that scary Zhira thought to herself before looking down at her…. paws? Excuse me what? Zhira looked up at a piece of broken glass laying on its side nearby and her eyes widened. She was a wolf!
That was probably really bad but Im tired so 👌🏻//
Adrianna hummed a classical song under her breath as she turned around, smiling. "Here you go-" Out of the window, she saw one of the men grab Zhira from behind.
The hot chocolate fell to the ground, spattering all over her white top. She leapt over the counter (just imagine Adrianna doing parkour haha), trying not to slip in the puddle of hot chocolate, and ran out the door. "Hey! Stop it! Stop!" Her Japanese accent came back in full force as panic slipped into her voice.
The attacker dragged the girl into the dark alleyway, and Adrianna followed them, running as quickly as she could. "Let go of her, you bas… tard…" Her voice trailed off as she saw the girl morph into a giant wolf. All she could do was stare in horrified awe.
The man tried to run past her, shoving her aside. Adrianna fell to the ground, looking up at the wolf.
