The Home

Some kids that are not wanted get sent to the home, if you are bad you get sent to the home. But the one thing is, is that some kids disappear from the home after a while. They try to make the home out to be a get away, a place where unwanted children or troubled kids can be left so you don't have to deal with them. But what it is on the outside is completely different from the inside. On the inside it has nice looks, a beautiful mansion with many rooms, toys, books. Everything someone could ask for. But there is a basement, all residents of the home fear it. It is where some go to get beaten into submission, turned into "Perfect Poster Children". Then there are the kids who just up and disappear for no reason. The Home is like a nice prison where you have to behave well or hide to survive and to not be tortured for not being a perfect pet.

Background: After her mother died of apparent suicide, Exila found herself at The Home. Her father couldn't take care of his daughter, for he proved to be too troubled, as well as emotionally and mentally inapt. Something always seemed off about Exila, but no one could place their finger on it. Even her father seemed to be hiding something after the death of his wife, but his strange behavior was excused due to the circumstances.
Looks: Pale skin, ocean blue eyes, blue hair on the top that fades to black hair (natural hair is brown), petite body, almost malnourished, but borderline average female weight. Most of her wardrobe consists of hand-me-downs from her mother. Her most frequent outfit is a purple sweater and black jeans.
Personality: Exila appears to be much more than she actually is. She's manipulative but generally only uses it to appear to be an energetic and lively soul, but when she's alone she's usually going through much emotional struggle. Exila struggles with nightmares, blanking out in conversation, and often times flashbacks, but has a tendency to ignore any difficulty she's going through in hopes that it'll go away.
Other: I considered linking to her character but I wanted to keep it general enough to fit into this RP because I'm curious how this RP will turn out haha
