(Anything. I think… I think thAt we still have a pianist. Right? Idk. What instrument do you want?)

"…I was hoping I could try out?"

"Of course!" Maggie assured her warmly. "Take a spot on the stands, we're about to get started with some vocal warm ups."

Tori looked around at the others in the group, then looked down at the papers again.

"Okay!" Maggie clapped and walked back up to the stage. She surveyed the choir for a moment, her eyes resting in every face, before she spoke. "Lip trills. Starting here," she sang and played a note on the piano, "for the ladies and here," she sang agajn and played a much lower note, "for the gentlemen. 5 scales down, then I'll help you adjust to a new starting note. Ready? On my count. 3…2… Brr rrr rrr rrr rrr."

Lili did the lip trills Maggie was showing, doing the middle note.

Steen had hastily stuck his earbuds in his hood and so was late in coming into the exercise.

Grace got the hang of the lip thrills.

"Switch to humming," Maggie intructed. "Mmm mmm mmm mmm mmmmm."

"Switch to humming," Maggie intructed. "Mmm mmm mmm mmm mmmmm."

Tori started humming after realizing she wasn’t focusing for a minute.

Maggie surveyed the rest of the choir. She stopped humming and cut off the rest of the choir. She looked at them with narrowed eyes. "What's up?" she asked the entire group.

Jordan was looking off to his right

Maggie put her hands on her hips. She motioned for the choir to do the same. "C'mon… give me your best dramatic hip pop!" She thrust her hips out to the side, keeping her fists firmly on them. "Let's see it!"

Jordan comes crashing back to earth, "Eh?"

Grace grinned and popped her hip.

Maggie grinned and watched everyone follow her lead. Some people crashed into each other and began laughing and apologizing.
