The New Green Lantern Corps (5/10 spots taken)

For around 25 years, 10 green lantern rings drifted throughout the galaxy, looking for new holders but unable to find them. Until a few years ago, that is. They each felt a strong sense of willpower on Earth, and shot towards Earth to find them. That's where we come in.

Rules:
-No IRL hate.
-No swearing. If your character needs to swear, censor it.
-Humans only. They are from Earth, nowhere else.
-Don't make it all about your character. It frustrates me when people make it about themselves.
-Ask to join first before posting your character
-If it says closed, don't ask for it. Just don't.
-Wait for ME (MiraculousRetard) to accept your character, not anyone else.
-All kinds of characters are accepted, just make them unique.
-Don't include personal drama.
-LGBTQA is allowed. Just don't make all characters straight.

Personality: Allistor is spicy, hot headed and not really the nicest dude. He's a smart alic, kind of a jerk and doesn't take any crap from others. He's not afraid to put his word out there or make a jeering comment at times. When you do somehow manage to unlock his sweeter side, consider yourselves lucky.

Backstory: Allistor was always a bit harsh. Mainly due to the fact that he lost his mother after his youngest brother, Seamas was born. He grew up fighting to protect his little brothers and never really got along with other people. He has a bad smoking habit, and isn't likely to quit, so. He loves each of his brothers deeply, and will do anything for them. They are the reason he hasn't run away or died yet. He took a job as a waiter.

Looks: Dark skin, curly black hair with telemagenta tips, lime eyes, tattoo of a sparrow on her back and a tattoo of an infinity sign on her left arm. She has a bunch of scars that she never lets anyone see.

Other: She is the youngest of three boys, they would do anything to protect her. Only when they weren't around did her father abuse her. She suffers from slight anxiety and depression.

Backstory: Kym grew up in an abusive household. Her father was an alcoholic, smoked all the time, and hit her mother every night. When she was about 13 years old, Kym's mother committed suicide, leaving her father to abuse her instead. When Kym turned 15, she thought that she had found someone. She got pregnant with his child, but he turned out to be like her father shortly after their daughter, Taylor, was born. When she graduated, Kym took all the money her mother left her, took Taylor and moved away. Now she wants nothing more than protect her 4 year old daughter.

Donna dialed her friend Kymberlie's number. "Hey, Kym, you okay?" She asked into the phone.

Kym answers with a "Yeah," but Donna can hear the sadness in her voice. "I'm going to pick Taylor up from Jackson's."

"Yeah, sure. I'll be there in twenty. It'll take ages to get Taylor away from Callista and Elizabeth (her cousins, Jackson's twin girls)."

"There's a cafe nearby my place, want to meet up there? I'll text you the address." Donna said.

"Sure."

Donna quickly typed the address into her phone and sent it. She hopped into the car to pick up Jenny…. and found she wasn't there.

It took Kym 10 minutes to drag Taylor away from Jackson's house. When she got to the address Donna had texted her, she wasn't there.
