Brink cocked his head in confusion but smiled "alright?" Watcha planning Jacks?

vanessa rolled her eyes Jacklyn walked over to them crossing her arms.

Sensing the tention between the two, Brink made A little scene "ALRIGHT! Forgot you two didn't know each other, Vanessa, this is my sister, Jacklyn, Jacklyn, this is my girlfriend, Vanessa." He made a sweeping motion as introduced the two and smiled wildly

they looked at him ¨I know who she is when did you guys happen¨ she said,

His smile faltered momentarily, feeling the pressure of the two women "uuuhhhhmm about a year ago." He said

Vanessa smilled stepping beside him resting her head on his shoulder.

He laughed gently and wrapped his arms around her waist "what about you sis, saw you came alone, what happened to…Josh was it? Ooooh I liked Joshy, he was fun to chance around the house."

¨He doesn´t do galas and last time i checked neither did you¨ she said.

"first off, it's a villains gala, how could I not come, wreak a little havoc, have some fun once in a while. And two, I came because of this one right here." He cocked his head at Vanessa "so whatcha doing back in Gotham?"

¨I was bored so I´m back¨ jacklyn said
samuel started walking towards vanessa.

"hey Jacks, you still have your throwing knives right? I might do target practice soon." He said, loud enough for Samuel to hear. Brink tightened his grip on Vanessa's waist

Vanessa sighed and walked over to samuel where he pulled her down and kissed her.

Brink looked at them both, his heart twisting like it was in a straight jacket each second that went by that she didn't move away or resist him. "Fine, I see how it is, how it all was now." He pushed past the crowd that now had gathered, glacing at his sister, mother and father and shaking his head. Once outside, he tore off his dress shirt and walked home

Vanessa pushed Samuel away and saw brink leave " damit" she cursed walking out and walking home

Jay followed her.

Maria was sitting up when Kate burst in.
"Mom, are you alright?"
"Kate, what happened to you!" Maria cried, looking her daughter up and down.
"Nothing," Kate replied.

Maria pressed her lips together when Jay entered. She noted his beat up form and quickly put the pieces together. "Did you fight my daughter?"

He climbed to the roof and sat at the edge, dangling his legs off it and humming a soothing tune.

The next day at school vanessa walked into school with her good girl vibe her uniform was actually on.

Brink walked into school, looking at the ground the whole way. Mumbling a tune under his breath, he turned into his class and sat in the back. He pulled out his sketchbook and started to sketch

Jacklyn ran to brink " brink come on we have to go Vanessa's in the hospital".

Brinks head snapped up and stood, ignoring the teachers protest to sit down "what happened?!" He asked as he b-lined for the door, close behind his sister

She was about to answer."
" Hello students class is dismissed a student has been found stabbed" the aanouncment say d.

"Please, no, nononononnoonono please, PLEASE NO!!!!" He sprinted towards the door, feeling another Panic attack coming on

"Maybe, though I might say she fights pretty well. IF I did fight her." Jay replied smiling.

Maria pressed her lips together and narrowed her eyes.
"Mom, it's fine," Kate insisted.

"You did fight her!"
Kate winced. "It's fine."

Kate touched his arm lightly with a look in her eyes. "We're both fine."
