He laughed a sigh "I'm not cute," he protested

He shook his head and burried it in the sheets "I'm not meant to be cute," he mumbled

Vanessa rolled her eyes as the doctor walked in ¨Hi vanessa we did some testing and it turns out that you won´t be needing the surgrey we just need a guardian to sign your realese forms¨ the doctor said.

Brink popped out from under the sheets "my parents will be over in an hour, they'll sign for her."

The doctors eyes widend realizing there was another person ¨Alright¨ he said and walked out.

He gave the doctor a charming smile and waved "bye bye," turning back to vanessa he rolled his eyes and sighed

Vanessa pouted ¨What´s wrong¨ she asked.

"doctors…." He muttered

¨well soon enough we´ll be out of here.¨.

He nodded and looked at her with a slight smile

Vanessa smiled and kissed his cheek.

He leaned into her, his eyes closing in content while intertwining their hands together

She layed her head on him.

"I need to grab something. Why do you ask so many questions." He said as he finished his food.

"I'm curious," she replied evenly.

"Watch what?"

"Why are you doing that?" she asked quietly, but with determination.

He heard a knock at the door when his parents came in "hey you two," Joker smiled at them "how ya feeling vanessa?"

"I have to get stuff from my room of course." Jay said smiling then stood up and threw out his trash.

She sighed. "Your vague answers are not appreciated."

"well I never said you must come with me. I just suggested you could come with me."

"But you knew I would want to," she pointed out.
