In the middle of the night, Brink clenched his fists from a bad dream, he squirmed in bed, trying to get away from the nightmare "please….don't"

Vanessa didn't hear him asleep on the floor.

He bolted upright in his bed, breathing hard. Once he realized he was in his room and safe, Brink carefully got out of bed. Glancing down at Vanessa, he picked her up in his arms and set her down carefully in his bed. He went to the kitchen to make a midnight snack

It wasn't his normal nonsensical humming that her normally did to annoy or preoccupy his time with, it was soft beautiful melody, carried out slowly and precisely

"hm?" He glanced up "hey, did I wake you? Sorry." He apologiesed "why are their two of you…?"

She kissed his head ¨You need to go lay back down.

He shook his head slightly "I'll go in a few minutes, just need to clear my head."

she kissed his cheek before walking away.

He smiled softly and went back to spinning and humming

Vanessa checked the time and slowly made her way out of the house.

He stopped his spinning and headed to his room "Ness?" He sighed, not being able to find her. He flipped down onto his bed and slept

The next day she was walking the sidewalk passing his house softly singing sweet but a physco.
