What looked like little lights started to come together a man then spoke “ welcome back… zack”

“ don’t you remember an olds friends voice?” The king said, he was made up of little firefly lights. “Why are you sorry.”

“ no.. you were just in time. You saved my son. And soon enough our family trees will connect. Thanks to you arriving when you did, you saved him. I was going to die sometime.. so don’t fret about that young mentor” revelan said.

“ he’s stronger then you think. Give him time, it’s a hard loss. “
Hiro yelped as he tried to tend to the cuts. But he couldn’t get the bleeding to stop, he’d forgotten about the poison he laced his weapons in. Going to the only person he knew where they where at, he knocked at avens door.

“ and that is?” He asked kindly

“ what do you mean? Off?” The king though a moment “ he has a gift.. he reads emotions, if your mad, he can feel it and it affects him.”

“ yes.. I believe it’s hereditary “ he said

“ yes.. but he could also read emotions, emotions that are secretive. You have asked your son how he feels correct?” The kind asked
Aven opened his door “ yeah? Oh! Hiro..your hurt.. “ hiro nodded “ the poison is blocking my blood clotting, will you help me wrap it?” Hiro said weakly.

The king just smiled “ you’ll find out. “
Hiro winced as Aven wrapped the wounds, after it was done hiro layed his head on the boys shoulder.

“ hmm?” The king hummed with a smile.
Aven smiled slightly, pulling the elk to lay down with him. ‘this is different from how you where acting before’ he thought, though the male that layed in-front of him looked calm and peaceful.

“ like I said, ask your son how he feels” the king said once more and the lights faded out.
Aven wrapped his arms around the elk. Hiro doing the same. “Thank you.”

Hiro fell asleep, as did Aven. The blonde had finally expressed his feelings but.. how did the other know as well?

Aven got too warm next to the elk. “ I gotta get up hiro..” he mumbled. The boy went outside, letting the cold air rush over his face.

Aven flinched from his fathers roar “ dad! Come home!” He yelled, “ your going to wake the neighbors!” He said going back inside. The blonde snuggled back up to hiro.

As the night went in the two stayed cuddled together
