Camilla got off the bus and walked home until she saw Pluto getting dropped off and saw that he had lots of bruises. She ran over to him. "OH MY GOSH, WHAT HAPPENED ARE YOU OK?!" Camilla cried out in concern.
Pluto looked up at Camilla silently, opening his mouth to speak before dropping his bag and running into the house. He seemed to be on the verge of tears as he slammed the door of his room.
Cas came home from school and heard the door slam. (How old is Pluto?)
(About six I think)
(Ok!)
He walked up the stairs and knocked on his little brothers door
Nova walked in. "Did I miss something?"
"Wait!" Camilla cried out as she picked up his bag and ran into the house after. him.
Pluto hesitated before sliding off his bed and opening his door, hastily brushing away the tear tracks on his pale face.
(oof, sorry that I disappeared. What did I miss so far?)
(They went to school, Pluto got minorly beat up, and now everyone's back at home)
(Alright. Where should Beau be…?)
(Uh… Beau's closest to Pluto so maybe he just comes up as well? Idk, up to you)
Pluto hesitated before sliding off his bed and opening his door, hastily brushing away the tear tracks on his pale face.
“You ok tiny?” Cas asked him. He wiped some of his tears away
"I'm fine." Pluto went back over to his bed and sat on it, drawing his knees up to his chest. He could feel a deep bruise blossoming on his shoulder.
“Your crying. You can’t be fine.” He stated matter-of-fact
Camilla skidded over to Pluto's room with bandages. "It happened again, didn't it?"
"Nothing happened. I said I'm fine." Pluto replied in the smoothest voice he could manage. He turned away from the others so they couldn't see his face.
"What happened?" Beau asked concernedly, peeking his head into the doorway of Pluto's room when he heard sniffles and a door slam. He noticed some of the tears on Pluto's cheeks and stepped inside of the room, furrowing his brow in thought as he noticed Camilla come in with some bandages.
"Don't lie." Camilla said in a calm voice as she turn his face to put a bandage on.
Pluto didn't respond, just tried to pull his head out of Camilla's grasp. His fluffy, disheveled hair fell into his eyes.
Venus arrived home to spot everyone in Pluto's room. She let out a small sigh and leaned against the doorway.
Cas sat beside him “you can tell us anything!” He said
Pluto was overwhelmed by the sheer amount of people in his small room and began to feel a tad claustrophobic. "Camilla already knows… why don't you ask her?" He said quietly, turning away again and pulling his hood over his head.
Beau frowned, wanting to move closer to Pluto, but he decided that there were enough of people surrounding him already. He watched him for a few moments, shaking his head at the thought of someone laying a finger on his younger brother. Why would someone do that?
When no one spoke, Pluto sighed and decided to do it himself. "Jaxon again. Third grade."
Kai heard a commotion and wandered down to Pluto's room. He froze, his eyes widening. "What happened?" he demanded.
Beau leaned forward, adjusting his hearing aid when he couldn't hear what Pluto had said. "I swear…" He trailed off, releasing a frustrated sigh as he ran a hand through his hair in thought. He had his share of bullies in elementary school due to his hearing problems, though he wouldn't let that happen to Pluto either.
Pluto cowered at the sight of Kai, remembering his brother's anger from earlier. He fell silent and pulled his hood over his face. The grayscale galaxy pattern on his hoodie blended in with Pluto's pale, almost completely white skin.
Camilla sighed, not sayinga word as she cleaned up the blood and put some bandages on the bruises. "How have you not noticed over the weeks?"
Kai noticed the kid's flinch and instantly felt bad. He took a hasty step back. "Uh, sorry," he stammered. "I mean, no one's allowed to beat you up except me, got it?"
