Luke looked at him confused " So she could sleep and get away from my stupity." Luke was starting to catch on now

"Stupidity is a strong term. I'd say that you certainly have much to learn, but you do have the skills to be a great and powerful warlock some day." Bjol said, standing up. He walked over to Luke, now sitting down by him on the bedspread, running a hand through the man's hair comfortingly.

( OOPS I speeled it wrong LOL!)

Luke blushed hiding his face deep in the covers. " Exuse me what are you doing?!" Luke said liking it but knowing he was some other species. ( I do know what this is but my charecter dosen't) " Whats a warlock?" Luke asked.

"Oh, should I stop? I'm sorry." Bjol withdrew his hand. "It was a method of comfort, obviously ineffective. A warlock is a very powerful mage, skilled in the art of combat mostly, but can specialize in a range of fields." he said. Bjol always stressed his "R's", making his words sound like an avalanche, or falling rain on a rooftop.

Luke smiled " You don't have to stop. It- its just that i don't do good when guys touch me thats my only weakness really. I0 I find it difficult to even talk to them." Luke said trying to make him comfortable again " So if it helps then yes you may."

"Ah, I have much to learn about humans. You are all incredibly interesting." Bjol said.

" Eh what about?" Luke said

"Well, it has to be said that xenosociology* was never really my forte, but I do think that I'm getting the hang of your customs. I never understood parties though, why stand in a crowded room with food and drinks and loud music? What is so enjoyable about this activity?" he asked.

*means the study of other peoples and/or cultures.

Luke smiled " Well because you hang and talk with your friends/family. It's really fun. Maybe i'll take you to one sometime?" Luke asked still hiding the blush in the crackling fires light.

"Yvaine is really the only family I have left. Or at least, the only family worth mentioning. And I don't have much in the way of friends, I'm afraid. But maybe attending one of these social outings would be a learning experience. I don't know." he said.

Luke smiled, " Well she sounds decent. But yeah i would totally take you sometime. Well that is if I don't die from this. He said laughing.

"Oh, Yvaine was exaggerating, barely anyone has actually died. Most just left when the stress piled up to high for them to deal with." Bjol said casually.

Luke moved his fingers through his hair. " Well for someone that dosen't interact or even see humans much you sure no how to make them feel at home and how to talk to them."

"Mm. Well, we all have our talents, even if we don't know it." he sighed.

Luke frowned, " Well I think i gotta get up cause my bed times in like 5 hours. It's only 4pm dude so i won't sleep for a while.

" Do you guys got any edible food here?"

"Well, I noticed that my sister battered you up quite a bit. I want to see those bruises and cuts and all, I don't want anything getting infected." Bjol said. "And yes, we have food."

" Well does that mean your gonna patch me up and feed me?" He said

"Er, well, you do need some medical attention, yes, and I suppose I could find some food somewhere…." Bjol trailed off.

Luke ran after him. " Well? Ummm I thought you said you have food?"

"Yes, food. After that, I'll examine you." Bjol said. "Come on, I'll take us to the kitchen. If you would take my arm." he offered his arm like a proper gentleman.

" Ummm I'm not a girl but OK!" Luke took his arm blushing away.

"What does being a female have to do with it?" Bjol asked as he teleported them to the kitchen.

" Well usually guys offer there arm to a girl not a guy typicly." Luke lectured

"Oh. Should I have not…" he trailed off.

Luke followed once again. " Your fine remember your talking to a gay guy so i could've cared less. BUT don't ever do it in publuc unless you are gay and want to be made fun of. This world is cruel." He laughed

"What's a "gay"?" Bjol asked. (Poor child he thinks that people don't get all uppity about gender and sexuality like his culture. And he knows nothing of the LGBTQIA+ because as you can see, he basically lives under a rock, or the equivalent of aforementioned rock.)

A gay is where a guy likes another guy. Lesbian is where a girl likes another girl and bisexual is where you like both men and women." Luke spoke. " Thats why i was blushing when you ran your fingers through my hair. and all of it together is LGBTQIA and more."

"Oh. I thought genders didn't quite… erm, ah…. matter, in any culture. I mean, obviously I don't know much but I assumed that humans would be above such a petty obsession…. not that I'm calling you petty! No offense intended!" he said quickly, blushing profusely.
