Moony rolled his eyes and started down the path at a slow trot.

“What do we do when we reach the human town?”

“I think we should find food and find out where we are.”

“That sounds smart.” She said as they drew close to the town.

Moony nodded. “I am quite famished.”

“Me too. I’m sure Earth food is much different.”

Moony shrugged. “I’ve heard it is quite good.”

“Do you know people who have been here?” She asked curiously.

Moony nodded. “My mother was from here.”

“You’re like an Earth human!” She exclaimed, looking over at him.

Moony nodded. “I do have some Human origins.”

“Wait..then why are you so nervous talking to humans if you kind of are one?”

Moony shrugged. “Humans are strange. A lot of them are.”

“Yeah they are but not so scary I think.”

“They can do a lot to themselves, though. Mother says they’ve fought whole wars.”

“About what?” She asked, her eyes wide.

“I am not sure. I think she said government, but I don’t know what she was referring to.”

“I’m confused. Earth people are interesting..”

“They are quite confusing, too.”

“Yes they are. Look at this human town, it’s so overwhelming.” She said as they walked into the town.

Moony frowned. “Why must we be the pair to take this on?”

Echo sighed. “I don’t know. We aren’t very qualified.”

Moony continued walking on in silence, thinking what in the tiny universe made them qualified.

Echo walked through the town, looking around curiously. She stayed close to Moony, careful not to bump into anyone walking past.
