therapy for the unusual (OPEN RP)

Welcome to Anathema, the hospital for the strange and unusual. You are invited to stay for as long as you like; however, we strongly encourage you not to leave until treatment has been completed. Based extremely loosely off the bright sessions podcast. A group of people check into a rehab center that brags about therapy for people with unusual issues/abilities. The hospital, as it turns out, is actually running illegal tests on their abilities. Now, the group has to work together to unravel the secrets of the so-called innocent hospital and escape.

Rules:
-ONE character per person. However, there will likely be characters that everyone can control (therapists, nurses, doctors, etc.) Feel free to use/introduce any characters like that.
-Your character can have one ability. Just one. No exceptions to that rule. The ability has to be one they can't really control, and it absolutely cannot be overpowered. The point of the RP isn't really to be a superhero or anything, so there's no need for abilities like that.
-I'd prefer all characters to be human or humanoid.
-Swearing is okay, but censor it with asterisks or dashes.
-PG-13 at most, including violence and sexual stuff
-Romance is allowed though
-LGBT+ friendly
-No homophobic, racist, sexist, or otherwise derogatory slurs. Be respectful towards everyone. However, your character is free to be as much of a bully as they want, besides slurs of course.

Ability: Apathy Manipulation. The ability to shut off her emotions entirely. She can, to an extent, to the same thing to others around her, but only if she's physically close to them. However, she can't control it and will sometimes lose all emotion by accident.
Appearance: Dark marley twists pulled back into a ponytail, dark brown heavy set eyes, nearly always frowning, scar on lower left side of face that ends at her lip, full lips, high cheekbones
Personality: Serious, witty, bent on revenge, never shows emotion, intelligent and strategic, closed off, extremely loyal to those she cares about, not quite suicidal but a bit careless about her own life, disrespectful, authoritative, quiet. The quieter she is, the more angry she is.
Quirks: Muscles always taught like a coiled spring. Her entire personality is a result of suppressed grief, reckless abandon, and guilt. Her sense of humor is very dark and usually only unveiled when she's not sober.
Outfit (optional): Dresses simply most of the time. Partial to jeans, t-shirts, and cardigans.
Backstory: She's a police officer. It took her years to realize her ability was actually an ability and not a mental disorder. She thought she could handle it, weaponize it somehow in the force, but her husband got caught in the cross-hairs and she didn't react until it was too late because she couldn't care. A family friend checked her into the Anathema because of her obvious PTSD and unhealthy coping habits.
Other (Zodiac sign, Myers-Briggs, Hogwarts House, or anything else): Capricorn, Slytherin, is incredibly goofy when drunk.

Backstory: Was sent to Anathema when she started predicting traits of people and events (Must be at friend level 4 or 5 to further unlock her backstory)
