Tasper wandered into the clinical looking building. He hoped he was at the right place. His mom had dropped him off without much instruction. He preferred it that way –he hated to be babied –but he was still a bit nervous. He found his way into Room 23A and headed inside. "Um, Dr. Evans?"
“That’s my name!” Brie grinned, turning around from her spinning chair. (Like you know the bad guys when they’re all “I’ve been waiting for you”)
A young woman popped out from behind the bookshelf next to Dr. Evans.
“Hi!” She said, offering a hand. “I’m Charlotte, Dr. Evans’s sister. I help out on the days I don’t have school.”
“Charlotte, you ruined my dramatic entrance.” Brie grumbled.
Tasper gave a breathy chuckle. "I'm Tasper," he said, "but I guess you know that?"
“Yep, you’re 14.”
“Dramatic enterances are overrated,” Charlotte said.
“I can kick you out, Charlotte.” Brie glared.
Brie glared at Charlotte, “I can kick you out, fyi.”
"Yeah –yes, I am," Tasper replied. He paused, staring at her for a minute, before saying very bluntly, "You seem really freakin' young to be a doctor."
“I was smart enough to graduate young.” Brie shrugged.
"Yeah, but a doctorate at the age of –what, 19, 20? Just seems insane." Tasper shook his head. He was still standing near the door. He hadn't chosen to go to therapy, but his family had insisted. Now he just wanted to leave.
“Mhmm,” Charlotte grumbled.
