"Um, is there anywhere I could sit down? Leg's killing me here." she said softly.
“Why don’t we all move over to the couches?” He suggested. “We’ll be here for a while anyway.”

"S-sounds good."
Xenix led the way over to the couches, taking a seat on one of the arm chairs.
Jackson rolled his eyes and strolled over to one of the couches, sitting down. "So what are you all in for?" He asked, glancing at the others.
The nurse left her into the common room. There was a girl and three boys. Valerie sat down as far from them as she could, avoiding eye contact.

"PTSD from both a car crash and school shooting combined with rich and snotty parents."
“DID, depression, drugs.” Xenix stated without giving back story. He doesn’t like to talk to about it.
"Well I for one was in a gang war and possibly killed some people," Jackson said, smirking. "My lawyer said that's all I should share."
“Hi.” He said as he waved to the new girl who just walked into the room. “I’m Xenix. Sorry these are the first things you had to hear from us.”

Clara felt dizzy. She had been getting horrible migraines nonstop the last few weeks for no reason.

Valerie flinched as the boy waved at her. Her breathing started coming quick. 'Calm down calm down calm down ' she tried to tell herself.

"Is it just me or is this room suddenly freezing?" Clara asked, her vision blurring with the pain in her head.
“Feels the same to me. Are you okay? You look pale.” Xenix asked concerned. “Sorry. Stupid question. I guess none of us are really okay. Are you sick though?”

Clara shook her head. "I need a glass of water." she mumbled.
“I’ll go get a nurse.” Xenix got up and went to push a call button on the wall near the door.

Cyrus stepped into the room, taller frame slightly slouched. He didn’t exactly want to be there. He would have prefered doing anything but, actually. He walked to an empty seat and sat down, stretching out his longer legs as he glanced around at the others in the room.
“We need a glass of water. Clara, one of the new patients, isn’t looking to good.” Xenix told the nurse when she came in, trailing another guy.
"Oh look," Jackson said, gesturing to Cyrus, "we got another one."
Valerie took a deep breath as another boy entered the room. She tried to keep calm.
“Thanks.” Xenix grabbed the glass of water from the nurse after she refused to do a check up on Clara and walked back over to where everyone was, handing the glass to Clara.
