“ there's nothing left to say now.”

"It's still faster and better than just leaving it, though, and it should help with the pain." Lorenzo headed to the back for a minute and soon returned with a little box full of small vials of liquid. "You'll take two of these every day for a week, and if it isn't healed by then, come back. You shouldn't have to, though. They're pretty effective."

“ thank you sir,” he said softly and took the box

Lorenzo nodded. "Take care of yourself, will you? What did you even do to hurt yourself like that?"

“ I got caught in a net..” he said with a good bit of embarrassment “ I have a paralyzing fear of falling.. and when my wing caught and I couldn’t grab onto anyone..” Cyrus tried to explain but his hands had started shaking slightly, his face going pale as him mind lapsed through the memory’s

"Ah…" Lorenzo didn't pry anymore, noticing that it was upsetting Cyrus. Corbin laced his fingers with Cyrus' and kept close to him, trying to calm him down. "Shh… it's alright…" He murmured softly. "We were just playing flying volleyball, so it was that net… I wasn't very good." He laughed weakly.

Cyrus flinched a bit when Corbin first put his hand in his, looking to the other quickly. He started to calm down, realizing who had touched him. “ you did all right..” he said softly

"Not really… I got stuck in the net too, and I don't think I ever even touched the ball." Corbin laughed weakly, and his dads chuckled as well. "Well, sports like that were never your strong suit." Nathaniel pointed out. "You really liked swimming when you were a kid. Everyone thought it was the strangest thing since most avians don't especially like to swim."

Cyrus chuckled a bit at the comment of Corbin and water. He slowly closed his wing, whincing badly as he did so

"Careful, Cy… and yeah, it was fun. I wanted to stay active, and since I couldn't fly, I ended up liking swimming." He shrugged.

Cyrus sighed and finally got his wing closed “ maybe when it warms up we all can go swimming or something..”

"Yeah, maybe… I haven't swam in a while." Corbin laughed softly and turned to his dads. "Well, um… thanks very much for your help. We should probably get out of your hair now…"

Cyrus nodded in agreement and turned to walk out of the hot ass house.

Corbin waved to his dads and followed Cyrus outside.

Cyrus cairred his box, once again attempting to keep kera warm.

"I guess you should start taking those p-potions, then…" Corbin shuddered and shivered. "They should help your wing."

“ I’ll start them tomorrow..”

"Are you sure? It seems like you're in a lot of pain, and Tylenol won't cut it."

“ I should be fine, just ready for bed..” he said and looked to the sky

"But if you roll over onto it or something… I-I dunno." Corbin sighed.

" then ill stay cuddled up with you"

Corbin sighed again. "But I don't want you to hurt yourself…"

" babe i already have.." he said jokingly

"I know, but I don't want you to get hurt any worse."

cyrus sighed "fine, but you have to cuddle me all night " he said and wrapped his wing around corbin

"Alright, alright." Corbin stood on his toes to kiss Cyrus' cheek and opened the door to his apartment.

cyrus chuckled, waiting till they were inside to pull corbing into a passionate kiss

Corbin made a soft noise of surprise, but soon relaxed and kissed back, closing his eyes.

cyrus kept his arms loosely around corbins waist, he eventually broke the kiss to catch his breath

Corbin was panting softly and still a bit flushed as Cyrus held him close. "Mm… what was that for?" He asked breathlessly.

" nothing, just wanted to, " he said with a sly smirk. he laid his forehead on corbins, giving the smaller the choice of another kiss like the last.
