"Mmmm… why am I so tired, then?" Corbin whined. "It's not even late…"

Cyrus shrugged " I mean turn on didn't work so.. I'm out of ideas to keep to up"

"Why can't I just sleep now? I mean, I don't have anything I need to do…"

" because your bluejay boyfriend can't sleep. He'd rather be tangled up with his crow "

"You can be tangled up with me while I'm sleeping." Corbin shrugged.

" yeah but that wouldn't be fair because then I wouldn't be able to see you all pink in the cheeks." He chuckled

Corbin flushed a bit and looked away. "B-But… I'm tired…" He whined. "And stressed…"

" fine.." he said softly and pulled the blanket up

Corbin huddled closer to Cyrus and closed his eyes, yawning and trilling softly. He wrapped his wings around himself and soon relaxed.

Cyrus wrapped his wings around Corbin. He try again later, when Corbin was wound so tight

Eventually, Corbin managed to fall asleep. He was asleep for a while, but he seemed pretty comfortable.

Cyrus stayed up, still unable to fall asleep

After a while, Corbin stirred again and opened his eyes.

Cyrus was reading on his phone. He sighed not noticing Corbin waking up

Corbin yawned and looked up at Cyrus. "Mmm…? Cy…?"

Cyrus looked down, his crystal blue eyes a little red " hmm?"

"Hi… are you alright?" He asked, looking a bit worried.

" yeah.." he said softly and gave a more or less fake smile. He shut his phone off and looked at Corbin for a good minute

"Are you sure? You look like you've been crying…" Corbin said softly, holding tighter to Cyrus.

" … Yeah I'm fine.. it's nothing really.."

"You know you can talk to me, right?"

Cyrus hesitated. " .. he's been proven guilty." He said shakely

Corbin was confused for a second, but then seemed to get it. "…Your dad?"

" yeah.."

"Well… isn't that good? He can't hurt you anymore."

" he killed my mom.." Cyrus said shakely

Corbin paled a bit. "He… h-he did? They proved that?"

" yeah. And the abuse towards me.. they got everything "

Corbin was quiet, not sure what to say. "I'm… I'm so sorry…"
