Augustine continued wandering around, dazed and sobbing quietly. But this was not the time to fall apart, and instead she made it her mission to find someone to talk to.

Horus flexed his foot and bent his knee. The pain had largely been dulled. He figured it would be wise to stand up, walk around, and stretch the injured area so it didn't get stiff. Horus started by simply getting to his feet, gazing after the poor child whom he'd made cry.
Alex looked over and saw Horus make a child cry. In anger she crossed over and punched him in the chest. "What the heck dude?!" She asked in anger.

"Hey! What did I do!?" Horus snarled, pulling his hand back. He was ready to punch back if necessary.
"You made the poor child cry! What was that for?!" She agrued back and held his fist in her hand.
"Woah, woah, woah! What's going on?" Augustine came sprinting down the hall, hair billowing out behind her like some weird miscoloured cape, and stepped between the two of them. "Just because… whatever is going on, doesn't mean we can kill each other. Have some dignity."

"I literally smiled at this kid to try and reassure him, and then he starts freaking sobbing! It's not my fault children hate me!" Horus shot back defensively.
adam put his hand on alex's shoulder "he didn't mean to… it was an accident."
Alex gave him a look before stepping back. "Wait really?"She asked in amusement.
adam nodes his head "yes."
"now apologize."
Alex ignored Adam and looked at Horus, trying not to laugh.

"Yeah… pathetic, I know," Horus grumbled, "Also, I don't appreciate the idea of getting beat up a second time today. Watch yourself before you punch. That's gonna get you in trouble one day, not necessarily with me."
adam helps horus up "sorry for my friends attitude, she is very punchy."
Alex bursted out laughing. "I am so sorry its just." She tried to finish her sentence, but ended up laughing harder. She whipped a tear from her eye. "Yeah I can imagine you doing that." She wheezed.
Adam glared at Alex then looked back at Horus "you can keep the pills, i have more."
Augustine blushed hard in embarrassment. She'd just stopped a play-fight. "Oh, Ahm… sorry then. Carry on."

"Thank you so much, Adam. It's already helping a good deal," Horus said, "So where are you all headed next?"
Alex glared back at Adam. "For goodness sakes let me loosen up. This is the end of world and I actually want to have some fun befoe I die." She said.
She turned back to Horus. "Look I'm sorry, so please excuse my sick sense of humor ok? For now, we're on our own." She explained and apologized.
adam turned to Alex "good, and next time find a reason to punch someone." adam disappears into the crowd

He checked his brab, wondering when the deadly gas would disappear. The amount of people in the tower made it very warm, which was a problem considering the fact that he was wearing a leather jacket. Cade had no idea why any of this was happening, and he didn't care. There was no point in wondering why things happened, when it would be smarter to just stay alive and not ask questions.
adam growled back at Alex "i've always been on my own, sadly you are the only group i can trust."
Alex checked her brab. Deadly gases now ending 25,000 dead. Her brab said. "We need to get to a shelter before we set out. I'm running low on supplies." She explained.
