adam dodges everyone and takes shelter in the 30th floor of a skyscraper by using the stairs

Jemma ran and caught up with Alex. "So are we headed to the usual shelter or has that been destroyed?"

"Nope still there, as usual." She replied casually and banged right through the doors.

Emil looked down from the top floor of the Sky Tower, watching as the people in the streets resorted to violent acts of aggression in attempt to reach the safety of the tower. He observed the chaos, slightly amused. He himself was one of the luckier ones, reaching the Sky Tower much earlier and avoiding the hectic rush of the masses. He reached into his back pocket, removing his brab. A quick glance easily revealed the time. 6:45 am the screen blared, 7:00, Tsunami . "15 minutes left," he murmured softly to the people still frantically running in the streets. "Good luck."

Jemma sighed and followed her to a corner as people filed frantically in.

Alex sat down as officials were running around checking on everyone. She put her backpack down and sat on the cold floor. She could hear cries and yells outside from the chaos of people trying to get in. This happened every morning. She fished out her brab and saw that there was 15 minutes before the tsunami hit

Jemma could feel the tension and heard snatches of questions. 'What if it comes early?' or 'What if it smashes us?' and the officials quiet reassurance, which sounded less certain every time.

Alex didn't believe that it would hit them since the building was built for that purpose, but she didn't want to believe this building was invincible. Immediately, everyone's brabs started beeping simultaneously and that's when the rumbles started

Jemma hugged her backpack closer to her. She always remained calm until it happened.

Emil continued to passively view the scene beyond the windows of the tower. He watched as a woman, her children in her arms, kneeled onto the cold gray cement of the sidewalk. Her hands clasped together, head lowered in prayer. Emil let a light scoff escape from the gap between his lips. "Praying is useless. There is no God. You might as well be praying to Europe not to send the Tsunami," he muttered under his breath. The tower was slowly becoming even more crowded with people trying to survive. He was still watching the streets until the beeping of his brab stole his attention. "It's time," he cooed softly as the earth began to shake.

adam heads toward the windows to watch the wave hit.

"Hey it's gonna be ok, like always." She comforted Jenna. "Ok I'm going to go watch the Tsunami, so take care of our stuff." So instructed before going up the stairs to the window where she would see waves forming up in the distance. Is it just me or do the waves seem bigger. She questioned herself

Jemma flinched at the screams outside. "Isn't there anything we can do to help them?"

Okay, here is my character now, sorry I'm late:
Name: Rain Fallows
Age: 17
Ethnicity: African American
Sexuality: Straight
Looks: Dark skin, long hair that is usually put into two french braids. Lean, and really quick on her toes. Her eyes are brown, and she needs glasses, (-4 vision over here). 5'7"
Clothing: Wears jeans and hiking boots. She had a black crop top, but usually wears a black jacket over it.
Personality: Usually straight forward, rarely makes jokes, unless they are sarcastic. When she's with friends however, her jokes may become a bit more lighthearted. She rarely cries, although she can be sad. Usually pretty good with words.
Skills and Talents: Quick on her feet, great with a handgun because of her father.
Others: Both parents have already died, father died because of the gases, mother before the natural disasters started (car accident).
Random fact about her: Has never cursed in her life. Instead, she'll probably say something weird instead.

Alex didn't hear Jemma's comment as screams and cries override the sounds. Then she saw it. "THE WAVES ARE GETTING HIGHER, WE NEED TO EVACUATE!" She yelled at the top of her lungs as the waves got higher and higher. Higher then before

Rain wasn't on the very top floor of the sky scraper, and she noticed the waves approaching the tower. She calmly pushed her way through the masses of people, occasionally saying "sorry" or "excuse me".

adam quickly grabbed his things and ran up the stairs hoping that the waves wouldn't get any higher.

Jemma sprang to her feet. "I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN EVENTUALLY!" She started kicking people. "GET UP! WE NEED TO GET OUT!"

( When I say evacuate, I'm saying get out of the tower and run away.)

Alex quickly ran over to where Jemma and her pack was. "C'mon, C'mon, I'm not letting you die on me." She hissed as she slung her pack over her shoulder.

Jemma ran after her. "Where else are we gonna go?"

Rain looked out at the waves, seeing them gradually grow bigger by the moment. Knowing that the voice saying evacuate was right, she rushed to the stairs, pushing through the mass of people.

adam changes his mind and runs down the stairs and into a nearby underground bunker "I CAN ONLY TAKE ONE FAMILY OF 5 PARENTS INCLUDED!!!" adam yells trying to same whoever he can.
