Time travelers RP (Open) set in 19th century Canada

So I went to Barkerville (it's a historic town in Canada) and now I kind of want to do a roleplay set in the late 19th century Canada. The story would be that a group of time travelers goes back to the gold rush to see Barkerville in it's time and they get stuck there and try to blend in. Lady characters would wear bonnets or hats and the gentlemen would have to do things like remove their hats before entering the building. Because they can't go back home to their time the characters would probably try to set down roots in Barkerville. Maybe working in the goldmines or gold panning. Other jobs are possible, too, you could, say, run the stage coach or set up a bakery or a hairdressers or a dentist's office. Things like that. The only people you would know would be the other time travellers and you will have to build everything you have "by hand". It's the gold rush! :3

So to make the backstory of people from large grade differences being on the same class trip everybody is part of the "History Club". Either by choice or because they had to earn extra credit.

Everybody can join - I'll have the character sheet posted in a minute. You can have any name you like for your characters but if it sounds too modern I would suggest having an old timey replacement.

Personality: quiet and shy but opens up and becomes very talkative, loving, and friendly once she knows and trusts you.

Background: Creme was born in Ireland and moved to Canada when she was 8 with her mother, father, little brother named Conor, and her gran. She was always a bit too shy and so she never had very many friends. When she turned 10 her parents got her a horse and she discovered she could bond better with horses than with people. Afterward her parents moved to a bigger ranch and she began going to school in B.C. At the age of twelve the entire middle/high school was set to go on a trip to Barkerville. Creme was excited because a new technology had just been invented that would allow them all to be sent back in time to see Barkerville in its peak - the gold rush. She was also excited because she heard they had horses.

Appearance: 5”11, bronze skin, shoulder length and choppy black hair, bright blue eyes, scrawny build.
Personality: Polite and shy, a bit socially awkward, usually sleep deprived, and doesn’t open up easily.
Age: 16
Background: Wants to become a doctor, but has a hard time handling death and failure. His mother died of cancer and he blames this on himself for not recognizing the symptoms early enough. He and his father (who is generally busy working most of the time) moved to Canada after his mother died. He wants to time travel in order to get away from his life for awhile and experience the past.

Other: Has been teaching himself basic first aid and treatments. He finds the idea of alternative medicine (ex: aloe to treat sunburns/ usage of herbs) very interesting and has educated himself on many plants and their uses. He carries a small almanac about them in his backpack, but rarely takes it out due to a fear of being bullied.
