Becca ran into the lab at the college. Of course she had forgotten her bag. She sighed.
Robin heard footsteps in the hallway and the dragon tightened its tail around his chest, making his heart beat faster.
Becca ran into the lab. She stopped when she saw two people already there. Beni grew considerably. Becca put her head down, avoiding their eyes as she went over to grab her bag, mumbling an apology.
"Oh, Becca, isn't it?" Dara spoke up after a moment. The snake-eel was positively screaming at this point: too many people in your lab, too many people, too many…
You can hardly handle one person, let alone two. The dragon hissed in his ear, winding itself around his chest and throat. And you don't know either of them, oh dear. Whatever shall you do? Robin could feel its amusement, and he knew that it was smirking at his incompetence.
