"Oh, that's good, I guess, now is there anything else you need from me? If not I'd like to go back to the book you lent me, it was very interesting." He sighed softly, "And uhm, I'll try to let you be, alright?"

"You can go back to the book, then." he waved a hand vaguely. "Thanks." he closed his eyes for a moment, shaking his head a little bit. He had no idea what he was doing. No idea.
Elias smiled a bit and began to walk away then looked back over his shoulder at the other man. He looked very stressed, and for a second, his heart went out to him, he felt bad for him, but then again, this man was holding him hostage aboard a ship in the middle of nowhere that had rats aboard it, there was no reason for him to feel bad or even care, yet he did.
Felix sighed, leaning on the railing and looking down at the ocean below. Hostage taking was stressful. Maybe he shouldn't have done it, if only to spare himself all this stress.
Elias shook his head and sat back down by the helm of the ship. He grabbed his book and began to read again, but he kept on thinking back to the way Felix looked, so pitiful in a way. He wanted to help and make the man's life a bit easier-although he really didn't have a choice. He tried to make it seem as though he was reading, but he was really lost in thought, trying to figure out how to help this other guy, or at least, be less annoying to him.
Felix hummed faintly, then moved to speak with some of the crew, speaking to them about how the prisoner was to be treated and such.
(Okay, quick question, since the conversation sort of just ended, should we maybe timeskip to a later part of the day?)
(sure! Do you want to do that, or should I?)
(Idk, I can start)
(alright!)
Before ELias knew it, he heard a bell being rung and saw a lot of the crew looking up and heading towards the sound. He figured that it was probably time for them to eat, since the sun had begun to set and such, but he wasn't too sure if he should go with them. So he went back to reading his book, he was a little bit worried about the fact that he would have to share a room with Felix, the man honestly scared him a little bit. He wasn't even sure how he was able to talk to him, the other man was just that intimidating, but he was sure that maybe soon, he'd be okay with being near him, but hopefully not, he didn't want to be aboard this ship for much longer.
Felix came over to Elias. "Time to eat. If you don't eat now, you'll get none until morning." He said, looking at Elias. "Take the book with you; I don't want it left on deck and getting wet." With that, he started walking again, heading below decks to where the crew would all be eating.
Elias groaned and sat up following him below the deck, he kept the book cradled under one arm and looked down at the ground, almost as if he was studying it. He heard the laughter of the crew as the got closer to where they would be eating, :Are you sure they won't hurt me?"
"No. They're too focused on dinner. Besides, you're under my protection." He replied, leading Felix into the galley and handing him a bowl of food.
Elias nodded a little, "Alright then, I guess that makes sense then." He sighed looking warily at the other men, then down at the bowl of the food, not exactly sure what it was, but not wanting to find out what it was, "Thank you." He said looking down at it, "I'll uhm just, uhm stay by you. .."
Felix nodded a little, heading over to a table and sitting down, then starting to eat. It was standard ship fare; something edible, by not something you wanted to squint at too closely.
Elias took a few bites of the food, just to be polite, but decided he could live without eating the food. It wasn't that the food was terrible, it just didn't taste the greatest, and he didn't want to embarrass himself, or hurt the chef's feelings by getting sick. So he quietly pushed the bowl away
Felix finished up his bowl, raising an eyebrow at Elias. "You gonna eat?" he asked, raising his eyebrows slightly as he looked at the other man.
Elias shook his head slightly, "No, I'm not hungry, but thank you though." He grabbed the biscuit of his bowl and began to nibble at it, "This should be enough for me. I don't eat a lot to begin with."
Felix nodded a little. "Mm. Alright then." he replied, getting up to take care of his bowl, then coming bakc, sitting down.
Elias nearly let out a sigh of relief when Felix let it be with that. He finished the biscuit then looked around, the ship's galley was quite large, and it fit all the men in quite comfortably. He nervously fidgeted with the ends of his nightshirt, not sure what he should do now, or where he should go either.
Felix looked at him. "Shall we head to my cabin, then, if you're done?" he asked, raising his eyebrows at Elias and smiling a little bit.
"Hhm, oh uhm, alright, I mean, if you do not have anything left that you need to do, then I guess it'd be alright." Elias began to ramble a little with his words, trying to find the right thing to say, "Uhm, I mean, if not that's alright too."
Felix blinked. "I don't really have anything left to do." he replied, standing and looking at Elias. "Unless you'd rather not head to the cabin yet."
Elias sighed, shaking his head a little bit, "I think anyone would be nervous to share a room with the man who kidnapped them, especially if that man is a pirate, but no matter, lead the way." He said as he stood up, "So uhm, how will this arrangement work?"
"You can bunk on the bed; I'll string up a hammock." Felix replied, starting to walk out of the galley and up on deck, then towards the cabins.
"Hhm, I could always take the hammock, after all this is your ship, not mine, so if anything you should have you know.. . ." He trailed off awkwardly and decided to just stay quiet. He continued to look around, contrary to what he had said earlier, the ship was quite beautiful, "I, uhm. . .Felix. . ." He murmured, trying to get the nerve up to ask the other man a question, then decided to give up, it wasn't that important. He stepped into the cabin behind the man, and his jaw dropped, "This is. . .this is very very nice. . ."
The cabin was a decent size, with bookshelves against one wall and a desk bolted to another. The bed was built into the ship, so as to keep it from shifting all over the place. Felix smiled a little. "Yeah, it isn't bad."
"Isn't bad? I think that it is very nice and well done, especially for the fact that is on a ship. I remember my cabin on my father's ship, it was nothing like this, actually, it was a lot worse, and not that well made. The crafters didn't know what they were doing. Either that, or they were just being lazy with their job." He said shrugging. "Although, I am not quite sure about that."
He shrugged a little bit, reaching under the bed and pulling out a folded-up hammock. "This ship was a navy vessel, for a while. That's likely why." he strung the hammock up, testing it to make sure it wouldn't fall.
