Enzo suggested that we write letters, and I knew that there was nothing in this world that mattered to me after Odette's death. I'm sitting outside her room and everyone else is asleep. My one simple request - give Odette something wonderful. Make her feel celebrated for the wonderful, brave things that she did. And ignore me. Honestly. I'm going to die tomorrow. I've already made up my mind, and nothing can change that since you voted Odette out. I see no other solution. Remember Odette. Forget me. Please. There is nothing left in this world that I love.

Enzo walked towards the voting booth slowly, his eyes dim. He paused only to clasp River's shoulder for a moment before continuing. He placed his vote without hesitation.

River wiped tears from her face and went into the voting booth. Coming out, she had more tears than before
