“I think it’s in April but I could be wrong. Tim’s birthday?”

"Tim?" Mike drew a blank. "Who is that?"

“I don’t know I just wanted to see if you’d answer. Day we got here?”

"Well that was about a month ago, right? So maybe September… hm… what was it, fourteenth?"

“September 12, today?”

"Today's October fifteenth," Mike supplied.

“Ok good, when did you go on your first date with Oliver?”

"Hm… that doesn't exactly have a date. Ask a more specific question."

“When’s trumps birthday?”

"I don't… I don't know a lot of trivia, dear."

“Sometimes I forgot others don’t know a lot of birthdays, I’m good at remembering numbers so birthdays just come natural to me.”

Mike grinned. "That sounds really cool. I presume you're good at maths too."

“I’ve never taken a liking to it but I’ve always been pretty good. I wish I was worse people just assume I like it because I’m in upper classes.” Rose looked sour just thinking about math.

"Mmm… intelligence isn't always welcomed. People struggle to realize that."

“Was that a problem with you also?”

"Yeah, it was. I particularly enjoyed the sciences though, so it wasn't all that bad."

“I hate science, I used to like it when I was younger but my teacher ruined it for me. She taught us stuff that we already knew or the info was wrong.” Rose rolled her eyes.

"I hate it when teachers do that. Especially high or middle school teachers."

“It was the worst, we learned nothing. I even had her for two years in a row.”

Mike shook his head. "Wow."

“I know right.”

Mike sighed and continued eating. "That's school."

“When they think school is teaching when it’s not.” Rose sighed.

"Learning and school are two things that never should mingle."

“Who knew an adult would say such a thing.” Rose gasped and put her hand hovering above her mouth.

Mike waved a hand. "I hated school. Loved learning."

"I enjoy learning things that they don't teach in school." Rose laughed.

Mike laughed too. "That's my girl!"
