(I have no idea at this point I'm watching a show while I do this and this one character just broke her adopted son's window with a hammer accidentally because she was mourning the death of this guy she loved, and he calmly went back to reading his comic book)

Jackson looked past Sam. "Also, who's your friend watching us?"

"I studied for years at the Southern Water Tribe, then joined the Air Nomads while being a spy for Zuko at Ba Sing Se," Sam said with a blank face. "Haha, no, just kidding. Like I would say - first rule of being a super is keeping your identity secret," Removing the smoke mask quickly and covering their face with their hands, they called to the waiter. "Orange chicken and chow mein, please, with white rice," they said to her.

She accidentally made eye contact and quickly looked away. If this were a story and my hair were longer, I feel like this would be the part where I fiddle with it.

(Hummmm….. I hate to be annoying but, is there any way that someone could write Isaiah in?)

Jackson looked past Sam. "Also, who's your friend watching us?"

"What friend-" Sam asked quickly, turning around and putting their smoke "mask" back on. "You brought gang members?!" they hissed, taking out the nail polish bottle. "Come on, dude, I'm buying you free food! And you repay me with an ambush?"

(uh… maybe sam is impulsive and tries to fight both ceri and isaiah? idk)

"Hey!" Jackson said, gesturing with his hand to calm down. "I told you, any and all gangs in this city think that I'm dead. I thought she was one of yours," He watched another man walk into the restaurant. (Isaiah) "So.. are you saying neither of them are with you?" He gestured to Isaiah and Ceri.

(There, Isaiah and Ceri are both added)

They'd definitely noticed her now. She sighed and slumped against the wall a little, not even bothering to hide the fact that she was watching. If she was lucky, they'd forget her in a day or two. No one really remembered the homeless.

Isaiah glared at the two staring at him.

"She has been watching us for a while though…." Jackson muttered, hand slipping to his dagger. "And- oh look, the guy is glaring at us now. How many enemies do you have exactly?"

"I'm not going to answer that," Sam said, grabbing the bottle. "Looks like the chow mein will have to wait. Stay here,"

Isaiah held his hands up in surrender as one of the two people from the table approached him.

"I'l eat your food," Jackson replied. "I haven't been to a restaurant like this since that date with Rebecca a couple years ago…. I still have the scar from that."

Jackson got up quickly, and followed Sam. "You're really going to use that magic trick in front of a bunch of civilians?"
