Mitchell squinted, seeing a giant black hole looking thing appear in the distance. "Hey! Isn't that the wormhole that the paladins went through when they first found the blue lion?"
Mike shut his eyes. "Wait I've got an idea to slow us down a bit!"
"SORRY" Charlie shouted between bursts of laughter. Blue ascended past the earth's stratosphere and out into space. Charlie was overcome with the urge to pet her lion, so she just pet the dashboard and tried to press the speaker button to turn it off. Blue travelled into the blue portal thingy. "Oohh~~" Charlie spoke in awe as she let her lion drive while she looked out the 'windows' at space.
"Or we can barrel through that swirling vortex of death, either way is fine!"

Gwen grinned. "Yes! That's the wormhole! Go in it go in it!" She was so excited! She might be a paladin of Voltron! She was in the Blue Lion!

Ranne bit her lip. "Good for you," she said, straining to keep the jealousy out of her voice. That was supposed to be her in the pilot seat, detached from all her worries and stress.

Gwen looked at space around them. It was so nice and relaxing except for the fact that they were all yelling.
"Sounds great, except actually maybe not?" Tasper tugged at Charlie's shoulder. "Maybe we should think about this?"

Charlie flicked her ears as she heard Ranne speak. Something seemed off about her; she wasn't having any fun or freaking out like the others. Charlie flattened her ears as she calmed herself down and tried not to worry about the new person as the lion tried to enter the swirling purple vortex. She nodded her head at Tasper as the pulled back on the lion and waited.
"Yeah, like, I dunno, maybe that black hole is a legit whirlpool of death instead of a wormhole. Like, we might be headed straight for death, you never know!"
