“You’re welcome,”he replied softly.

He held her close again, smiling a bit. He resumed rubbing her back.

“Love ya too,”he replied.

He then gently kissed the top of her head.

Jonathan kept rubbing her back.

“It’ll be alright, Kera,”he said softly. He continued to whisper comforting words.

Jonathan hummed in thought.

“When did they start? Was there something particular that happened to cause them?”he asked softly.

Sure, Jonathan knew that Boris could help her more, but he figured finding out when and why they began was a good start.

“Alright. No need to go into it. Maybe we can have Boris look at ya later, see if he can figure out a long term way to soothe them, eh?”he asked gently.

He cradled her, still rubbing her back.

(Don’t mind the abrupt question, but what do you think Jonathan’s accent is? I’ve been wondering that for a bit now. Australian? Canadian? Other? Just a random accent, lol?)

(Shrug. I kind of had that same vibe)

Jonathan continued to hold her and rub her back, even after she fell asleep. A little while later, he dozed off as well.

Amelia laughed.

“That was a lucky shot!”she replied teasingly.

Boris, who was off to the side, threw a snowball and caught Amelia in the shoulder. She yelped, then threw one back at him, still laughing.

Bull leaned against the ship, watching. He would occasionally throw a snowball, and occasionally get one thrown at him, but he mostly stayed out of the game. He was still a bit drowsy, but slowly waking up.

Bull jumped when Keigo dumped the snow on him, then smirked. After a moment, that smirk turned into a fit of laughter.

Amelia and Boris continued their back and forth throws. When Bull started laughing, Boris decided to throw a snowball at him. Bull ducked and the ball hit Keigo.

“Well shit. Hit the wrong guy,”Boris commented, laughing.

Bull snickered, throwing a ball in retaliation for the attempt. Amelia also threw a ball at Boris to avenge Keigo. Boris yelped and bolted.

Boris barely managed to dodge both of the strikes, though Amelia had been chasing after him. They both stopped at Keigo’s comment, catching their breath and laughing.

Bull snickered, then turned to Keigo.

“I’ll remember that trick you pulled, though I’ll have to get creative since you’re taller than me,”he mentioned with an amused snort.

“Yeah… but Boris is bigger,”Bull replied in a teasing voice.

“What?”Boris asked as he and Amelia walked back to the ship.

Bull waved him away, laughing.

Bull laughed.

“Nah, he’d do it to both of us, and not because I told him to,”he replied.

Boris walked over, his eyes narrowed suspiciously.

“I hear you two talking about me. So, what’s going on? You two plotting against me?”he asked, chuckling.

Bull laughed again.

Boris burst into laughter and shook his head. Bull continued to laugh, then finally managed to catch his breath.

“Well, come on. I think I know the perfect thing to warm all of us up,”Bull said, planning on making everyone some hot cocoa.

“Ooh, I’m curious,”Boris commented.

“No spoilers,”Bull immediately replied with a snicker.

Boris followed Bull inside. Amelia waited for Keigo with a smile, having been eavesdropping the entire time.

Amelia’s smile widened at the kiss, her hand finding and holding his as they followed the other two into the galley. Bull already had the coffeemaker going.

Jonathan was still somewhat asleep, but easily stirred at Kera’s movements. He looked at her with a half drowsy/half content look.
