“ wanna be a pirate with me?” ( closed)

Jonathan chuckled, sighing contentedly. He dozed off not long after Kera.

Jonathan didn’t notice until he woke a bit before his alarm. He smiled softly when he saw the time. He didn’t get up, instead continuing to hold Kera.

Jonathan watched her for a little bit, smiling softly, then gently untangled from her, doing his best not to wake her. He then readjusted the blankets so she’d stay warm before turning off his alarm. She most likely needed the sleep.

Jonathan dressed and left as quietly as possible, then headed to the galley for his typical morning cup of coffee. He planned on checking back on her when he finished making the cup.

Jonathan decided to go back to his room after drinking the second cup, instead of acknowledging the temptation of a third. He gently opened the door, walking in, then smiled softly when he saw her waking up.

“I figured I’d let ya sleep,”he cooed.

“You’re welcome.”

Jonathan then snickered, moving to do just that. He snuggled up to her, watching her with a contented gaze.

Jonathan smiled,”You’re welcome again.”

He lightly rubbed her back.

Jonathan chuckled.

”It really is,”he replied, just as softly.

“It’s a hit or miss with him. He’s most likely calmed down, but it doesn’t necessarily mean he’s not pissed off still,”Jonathan explained with a small shrug.

“Sometimes. Though he’s more likely to be grouchy, and just more of a pain in the ass than usual,”he replied.

“It would probably soothe him a bit. Though, there’s still the fact that he doesn’t trust ya whatsoever,”Jonathan replied, sighing as well.

“I honestly don’t know how we can get beyond that wall. I think part of the issue is your proximity to me. He’s very protective of me, obviously, and I don’t think he understands yet that you’re not trying to hurt me.”

Jonathan smiled warmly at her, cradling her.

“I know, love. He just doesn’t understand that yet. Hell, probably everyone doesn’t,”he replied.

Jonathan rubbed her back.

“It’s alright, Kera. I’ve been on edge lately anyway with everything that’s happened, not only in the past couple weeks, but also in this past year. That, and I’m a bit of a nervous wreck as it is,”he said, chuckling slightly.

Jonathan smiled again.

“And I love ya too,”he replied softly.

Jonathan snickered.

“Honestly, I have no idea. Maybe, in a little bit, we could visit Boris and see if he can help ya with those migraines. If ya want.”

He shrugged a bit, casual with whatever she decided.

“Alright. Anything else ya want to talk about?”he asked softly.

Jonathan snuggled closer to Kera, smiling.
