"The detective and the blogger. Cute." she said, still positive they we're a couple.

John sighed. "I….Er….never mind…" He stuttered.

"you still think we're a couple dont you?" sherlock sighed

"Uh huh. It's obvious."

John ignored the girl and looked at Sherlock. "We need to put up ads for the extra apartment today, like Mrs. Hudson told us, remember?" He said.

"Extra apartment you say?" Maria asked.

John turned around and glanced at the girl. "Yeah we have an extra flat next to ours that our landlady wants to put someone in. She says we are "boring" her.

"I'm actually looking for a flat. My parents are kicking me out tonight." she said.

"Well you're in luck I guess. Here's the landlady's number." John said, handing Maria a slip of paper.

Maria took the number. Maybe this could go well after all.

"Alright I have to go. So see you soon I guess. C'mon Sherl." John said, getting up and nodding his head to Maria as he walked out the door.

Maria sighed. They were such a cute couple.

"oh, and for the last time" sherlock said, turning back "we are not a couple!"

Without turning around John pointed back at Sherlock and yelled. "What he said!"

"so, do you think she'll take the apartment?" sherlock asked"and if so, how many times do you reckon she'll call us a couple daily?"

"I reckon she'll get the flat and how would I know? You are the smart one." John said to Sherlock.

An hour later a cab pulled up in front of 221B. Maria stepped out, grabbed her cases, and knocked on the door.

John heard a knock from downstairs. "MRS.HUSON THE DOOR!" He yelled.

"Hello? Anybody home?" she asked.

"Sher-nevermind ill just get it." John said annoyed as he walked downstairs. He opened the door and found Maria, the barista from earlier. "Oh hey its you." John said, "I'm sure Mrs. Hudson is here somewhere."

"Hello! Sorry if this is a bad time."

"No its fine, the flats right there." He said pointing to a door next to him. I'll be upstairs if you need anything." John said.
