Faraneer said not a word as he watched through their eyes as the siren took off to a place she seemed to only be able to access. Mylnorr kept them in place. Instead, he simply closed his eyes, allowing whatever to happen, happen.
~Oi Mylnorr, let's just leave this place. I can't stand whiny things, you know this. Meh, she probably wouldn't even taste that good anyways. Whiny things like that never do~.

As soon as the siren had disappeared, did Eberaus take the chance to bolt out the door. Outside, he breathed in deeply, happy to be out of that small space. Sure, the siren said the place wasn't 'human', but it was 'human enough' to make Eberaus hate every moment of feeling trapped.
He glanced around, forked tongue flicking past his lips, testing the air. Now then, he just needed to remember how the hell to get out of this city and back into more comfortable spaces that were not densely populated. So his search started, taking a random path, hoping it would lead to where he needed to go.

Eberaus walked for some time, until coming to stop in a rather shady part of the city. He instantly felt his body go on edge. His eyes glowed brightly, pupils narrowing into thin slits. He couldn't get rid of the feeling that he was being watched, the dragon didn't like it. The tufts of feathers along his tails were vibrating madly.
A sudden sound from an alley drew his attention, making him jerk his head in the direction. A low growl came from him, something didn't feel right. Then as if to answer that suspicion, the male suddenly felt a small prick in his neck, but instantly collapsed before he could react in the slightest.
From the shadows a figure stood. Golden eyes swirled to bright red as they looked down at the passed out male.
"Heh, sorry pal. Don't know why my client wants ya, but hey, the pay is good for me."
Shadows swirled, shadowy tendrils slinking outwards, wrapping around the other, and slowly dragging them back into the shadows…

Nykidia watched as Eberaus left. Nykidia followed him. "Hey Eberaus! I'm pretty sure Nysaxiope wouldn't be to happy if you just-" she said trailing off as she saw what happened. She decide she wasn't going to do anything. Not yet. "I just need to watch for now." She said ducking behind a building.

Aaron looked to Nykidia as she came over and called to Nysaxiope, but only for a moment before he flicked his gaze over to the others to see if they helped. Instead he held back a low growl as he watched Eberaus bolt, disappearing in a random direction. Coward. Probably doesn't even know where he's going. Though he stood up as Nykidia followed, pausing as he considered his options. Either he followed someone he considered a friend, or he stayed with people he didn't trust nor know how to deal with. He let out an annoyed huff as he shifted, his hair a mess again and his mask gone, before leaving the restaurant. He followed as best he could, almost thinking he lost them before seeing Nykidia. He nearly called out to her, instead showing alarm in his expression noticing Eberaus getting dragged into the shadows. He went over to Nykidia, trying to not alarm her by setting a hand on her shoulder before speaking, "What or who in the name of all living things just did that?" He said, half in surprise and half in question. Though he sounded annoyed, as usual, there was worry as well. He didn't like the thought of anything being able to take down a dragon so easily.

Nykidia jumped as when Aaron said that. She had drawn a dagger but put it away as she realized it was only Aaron. "I don't know. Honestly this was why I didn't want him to go off on his own. There are plenty poachers and gangs who would die to get their hands on a dragon. Do you have any idea how much a dragon claw will go for on the black market? A live dragon would go for even more." Nykidia explained to Aaron. "This is my fault. I should of warned him." She said as she looked in Eberaus's direction.

The figure stood in place, glancing upwards towards the sky. He remained there for several moments, then the silence was broken by a harsh caw. From above a raven glided downwards. Though there was definitely something off, it not seeming like your average bird. The bird's eyes glowed bright red with no pupils whatsoever. As for the male, he lifted a hand, using a finger to pet the creature's head.
"Ah, there you are my lovely Roric. Well then, shall we get this guy back and grab our pay then?"
The raven moved a bit, stretching its wings. It gave another caw, flapping a bit. As for the strange man, he only gave a soft chuckle. He tapped the bird once, who in turn hopped off his shoulder and to the ground. Shadows started to converge towards the creature, its size suddenly growing larger. All the while, The man stood there watching in silence.
As the shadows started to return to normal, there was no longer a raven, but a massive, vicious looking roc that stood in its place. The giant bird turned its head, eyes glowing gold now. It lowered itself, waiting patiently for its rider.
Now, as for the rider, he didn't approach. Instead, he spoke out loud, "No use hiding in the shadows. Might as well make yourselves known now before I just start riddling the place with bullets. Though I will say, it is quite an effective way to get rid of eyes where they don't belong."
It seemed he had sensed he was being watched, and knew it. His head turn, eyes swirling from gold, to red, then back again to gold. His gaze landed where the pair were trying to lay low.
"I would prefer not adding more to the pile of bodies I have made, but let's just say I was told to do whatever was necessary, even if it means a few lives are lost. Heh, not that it's my problem anyways."

"S***" Nykidia mumbled. She grabbed Aaron and with one swift movement leaped onto the top of the building. She looked down on the man. "That's our dragon. So get you hands off him." she said with upmost confidence.

Aaron stepped back seeing her weapon, preferring that he stay unharmed. As Nykidia put it away he listened to what she had to say. It made sense. With immortal species gone for the most part dragons were the next closet thing with their power and long lives, so it was probably true that they would be worth plenty. He almost spoke up, but instead shut his mouth quickly as he found himself being taken through the air. He blinked, getting his bearings, as they landed on a roof with him wondering how that was possible. Sure he jumped high, but he didn't think he could reach a rooftop carrying someone. He pushed the thought away as he spotted a man with Eberaus and an odd bird companion. He growled, "Hey, he's with us! How about you and your over sized bird get out of here?" Aaron was already annoyed with people, this just ticked him off even more. He didn't need someone trying to drag off people he knew. I might kill him if he tries to pick a fight over Eberaus.
